So the Sportscene coverage tonight could have picked on any number of outrageous incidents in the bigot fest today. It was especially noticeable that they did not deem it necessary to dissect the incident where Ryan Jack digs his heal into the ribs of the Celtic player then pushed the player’s face in to the turf. Just imagine how long they’d have spent on it if had been a different Ryan who had done that.

Watched this morning no analysis of the Hibs pen. Analysed the Hearts pen a clear dive. Aberdeen winger Besuijen sp? who was good for a dive in our game up there a couple of weeks back absolutely laughable dive then stays down feigning injury then Aberdeen score and he makes a Lazarus like recovery celebrating the goal should definitely imo be facing a ban but no doubt won't be. Maybe Porto should tweet the incident

I've just watched the show with the highlights of the weekends games. While Scottish football may be exciting, you've got to say the standard is not very high. The Motherwell game might have been good to watch, but the goals were a joke - defending and goalkeeping. And the refereeing - what about Livingston not getting a penalty? Incredible.
It is exciting - as this coming weekends round of fixtures proves - but is that enough to grow / progress the game? When so many of the players are from English 3rd / 4th tier clubs, how can we expect to be better than that?
It also highlights that Celtic and Rangers (and occasionally others) punch above their weight in Europe - it's a massive step up in levels from the standard they play every week.
