What was your involvement if it’s not too searching a question?

I can't say. There is more to screens of that size than just power. The picture posted on the previous thread shows them working so I don't see why they wouldn't be.

It's not a weed!! That's the wildlife garden, Buddleia davidii, or butterfly bush to the uninitiated is a good source of nectar for all sorts of invertebrates.

    Greenest club in Scotland. 👍
There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

Yes that's what I thought it was a Buddleia. Attracts butterflies and bees. In this case Hibees in particular.

Its not a weed is our attempt as the greenest club to be carbon neutral, only another 30 trees to plant.

Great stuff. Back when I was involved with contracting at Hibs it was Arthur McKay who took care of everything M&E. Are they still involved? They had a lot of good Hibbies there and got involved in corporate but they were swallowed up while back so it will no doubt have changed.

They look fantastic. Buzzing to see them in action tomorrow. Well done Hibs!

They look really good. Well done Hibs for adding to match day experience.

Hopefully more stadium improvements and the electronic ribbons next.

Those screens with the new sound system. Huge entertainment potential. We’ll done Hibs
Don’t want to get too excited since the entertainment on the park is the first consideration but this seems to have been well thought out and has big income potential too it seems.

Does anyone know the rules on what the big screens can show I regards to replays etc?

As I said above it looks fantastic, the only possible downside is I believe the screens are at either end of the East stand so I'm not sure if there may be some people in the East stand who may not get a great view of either of them.

Personally think one in between the East stand and Famous Five or South stand and then another in between the West stand and Famous Five or South stand would have been better but perhaps it will work out better than I'm thinking.

There are smaller screens on each of the internal ends of the east stand

There are photos earlier in the thread that illustrate why a screen can't go between the West and either the FF/South – the gap between the West and those stands is much smaller.

The small screens inside the East stand gables are meant to solve the problem – although I've no idea whether they're big enough to be seen clearly from further along the East.

Plus the TV cameras face the East Stand hence more likely to get company's advertising.

Yeah I sort of understood that was going to be the case, I just wondered if one of them being positioned on the west side of the stadium might have been better for some people in the east stand but maybe it won't be a problem.

I’m guessing even if they are technically working , the content is going to be very early in its development …will take a while for us to see the thing in its full impact …..
