    Best Band frontman

Had a discussion with a mate about this.we couldn't decide between Freddie Mercury or Jim Morrison. Any others you'd pick ?

Freddie for me is in a league of his own as a front man, great voice, charismatic and has the crowd in the palm of his hand, others have it or parts of it but no one to that extent

I saw Adam Lambert with Queen a few years ago and he was phenomenal . Not Freddie of course but as close a standard as youd get as a front man who isnt trying to impersonate him. Was supposed to see them in London 2020 but it's been postponed to 2022 .

Slightly different but George Michael at the Freddie tribute concert was phenomenal.

Showing my age here but I saw Wham back in their early days. George Michael was destined to be a huge star.

His Sex Pistol days were long behind him since then.

Hard to compare them , different times . Morrison was always wasted , doing crazy **** on stage and didnt give a **** . Freddy was a total professional , took his craft seriously and did gigs in massive arenas and stadiums . Morrison was dead before he'd hit his peak , Freddy had hit the top before he died .
Freddy was probably better all round but i prefer Jims music

He was pretty iconic even in his young life….great thread this..regardless of musical tastes some big front men and women (siouxie) talents on here

I’ll add Tim Booth from James - wonderful front man

As an addition to the favourite front men, Myles Kennedy

he is fantastic, amazing voice, great crowd interaction, always looks like he’s loving life being on stage and looks disappointed at the end of every gig that’s it’s come to a close
