Never stopped me. Not that impressive but properly drill it home.

Surprised he didn’t get Motm, some of his touches and link up play were superb. Hopefully we can hang on to him a little bit longer.

Best player on the park today IMO. Really hope we can keep him.

The shot which resulted in a goal for Doidge was a thing of beauty.

He has had an excellent start to the season. His work rate and link up play have been superb and he looks very sharp.
If he keeps producing performances like that he'll be Scotland's number 1 for years to come. His movement and link up play was superb, I hope we can hold onto him for the season at least.

I thought his hold up play was an abomination. I lost count of the number of times he miscontrolled it and gave away possession

He was excellent yesterday some of his link up play and his effort for the second goal was brilliant. Honestly can't remember him giving up possession much unless you are counting him losing headers to bigger centre halfs. Looked to me a much improved player and think we will get a few bids prior to the transfer window.

And I thought he had his best game in a Hibernian jersey opinions eh, they're like heads, we all have one

It was in the first 20 minutes. Then he came on to a good game.

His touch and awareness for the first and second goals was brilliant.

He will occasionally give the ball away as he doesn’t just try and hold it and shield, he’s always looking at ways to turn defenders, find a yard of space. Top quality player who will make us a fortune thankfully.

    Oh dear!

Sometimes takes him a couple of touches for him,to get into his stride so I sort of know what you mean ?

Maybe he is thinking ahead to his next move when the ball comes ?

Please bear in mind in his first season in the Premiership he scored 18 goals for us but in watching him in albeit closed doors games which is far from ideal his vision, link up play, phenomenal work rate, hold up play, awareness and finishing is second to none Add to that he is a team player always urging on his team mates and always making himself available for the out ball His attitude is fantastic and he is totally focused always looking to score and I like how he always chooses to pass the ball into the net rather than blast it

We are lucky to have him

Don't get me wrong, on the occasions he had good possession he was great, but he gave the ball away plenty yesterday. His hold-up play is generally pretty poor but yesterday it was awful. One mi**** hit lay off ended up with Macey having to make a one on one save

I would genuinely stop watching football if this was my take on his performance yesterday.

I'm not questioning his goals and I think he's great when he's got it under controland in possession but his hold-up play is really poor and he really struggles to play back to goal.

It needs to improve drastically if he wants to take a step up. At the moment he needs a partner and the problem that presents to him is that a front 2 is very rare at the top level.

Remember that not good but what about his glorious 50 yard pass from deep inside our left hand side out to McGinn on the right wing that led to Magennis ‘ goal his shot that hit the post that Doidge converted and his goal bound shot that struck O’Donnell’s hand for the match winning penalty?
Add his words of encouragement to Boyle telling him not to f#ck it up

Pretty sure I read somewhere on here he is the best ‘ back to goal and assists striker’ we have had since Craig Brewster

I've said when he was in possession he was excellent. I was talking about his hold up play. If it's played into his feet with defender up his backside, it's odds on he'll lose it, which is what happened yesterday.

Please also bear in mind that for 60% of yesterday’s game he was upfront on his own surrounded by three giants

Happy with his three assists as I am sure both he and Jack Ross are as well as his total contribution to a great victory

I take your point on board and will be on the look out for it going forward

Honestly didn't think any part of his performance would I deem as awful yesterday.

Think he’s better as a striker than in goals

If Doig goes for £3m or £4m then KN double that, at least.

Here’s what Jamie Carragher thinks of strikers that ‘just score goals’

    Jamie Carragher ?

I’ve forgot more than he knows

That is why teams pay fortunes for players that stick the ball in the net

You cannot deny that Nisbet works his bollocks off and scores goals?

Q Who was the last HIBS player to score a hat-trick versus The Hun ?
