    Motherwell vs Hibs

Doidge still on the bench & no Doig as reported.

Murphy starting is a wee bit of a surprise hopefully he has got over his hamstring issues

Very attack minded bench. Or is that we are so short of depth in defence at the mo?

Good looking team and like it’s been mentioned, good attacking options on the bench.

Hoping Scott Allan on the bench down to a precaution after his midweek knock.

There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

Interesting no new signings starting (not including Macey as he was here last year).

Hopefully we can add a couple of first xi quality.

I wondered if JR doesn't want to chuck the younger lads in at the deep end given that the opening league match is fairly high pressure?

What's happened to Bradley? He seemed to be doing well in pre-season.

Marvin Bartley and McFadden talking at pitch side just now

    No Wright in the squad

I like the line up but I hope it means Newell and Magennis are both asked to get into the box and support Nisbet.

It appears to be a formation that should match us up with Motherwell. Which makes sense as at times last year we gave them the extra man in midfield and they dominated possession for long spells.

    I think we’ll win 2-1 or 3-1

Like the look of that team a lot actually. Hopefully see Scottie off the bench.
