    Rijeka - who is going?

Well? Croatia is on the green list, as to what that means & the logistics of getting to Rijeka, I dont know. No isolation on return, but don't know much else. Would think seriously about going over, if its going to be feasible, anyone more knowledgeable, know the score?

Are we on their green list given Borisland currently has mega cases of Covid?
Getting into the game is the other spaniard in the works.

Highly unlikely to get into the game is the main issue with this one.

On 21 July 2021, Croatian authorities announced that from Monday 26 July 2021 all travellers from the UK must present a negative COVID-19 antigen test which must not be older than 48 hours or a negative PCR test no older than 72 hours on arrival, regardless of their vaccination status.

    https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-ad...y-requirements

Before travelling to Scotland from a green list country or area, you must:

    complete a passenger locator form
    take a COVID-19 test
book and pay £88 for a COVID-19 test – you should take this test within 2 days of arriving in Scotland
You will not need to isolate unless:

the result of the COVID-19 test you’ve taken on day 2 after arriving back in Scotland is positive
NHS Scotland Test and Protect contact you to let you know that you need to isolate as you’ve travelled with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19

    https://www.gov.scot/publications/co...ist-countries/

You probably won't get into the game though.

Nobody got into the game today. Some guys booked rooms that were overlooking the ground.

Didn’t get in but had a fairly decent view by the looks of it.

There’s a big hill behind the goals in Rijeka so anyone going might get a view from there!

Its just not worth the risk going through all that hassle of tests etc to find a hill behind a stand that you might not even be able to access or, get moved on by police or even worse, get chased by yobs.

You won't get into the game thats for sure.

If Hibs fans didn’t get in then a good few had a good view.

Surely that’s up to them to decide whether it’s worth it or not? Little bit of hassle (taking one test, booking another two and filling in a form) for plenty of sun, cracking company, most likely get to see the Hibs and hopefully see us progress, in a cracking country with plenty food and drink. Sounds ideal to me.

Same stadium England played at, when Croatia were serving a punishment of games behind closed doors apparently. And decent numbers appear to have travelled & seen game from the hill.

Are Rijeka known for their yobs chasing people on hills? 😀

I'd imagine our bar staff would be the same if you try to pay in another currency.

Exactly. Couldn't believe the number of people trying to pay in Euros instead of Kunas when we were there a few years ago. All got quite rightly sent packing to the ATM!

Forget about a hill above stadium. Police will not let You there, especially with club signs, for sure because it will be to close to northern stand.

I already explained situation with tickets for a game on other thread, if You want to go to the game with jerseys and flags, it will not be possible and police will not let You in due to UEFA regulations. But if You go as a tourists, I think that You will pass without any problems. On every game during summer we had a bunch of foreigners, people spending summer vacation here. So...

How do you reckon that? On the telly or in person?

Don't have twitter or facebook to brag that I was there so with no chances of any likes that rules me out....

Before covid nothing could have stopped me getting to an away day but with the uncertainty off it all for me its pointless.
