    How do they look?
Live on Bet365 too. Half time just now, 0-0. Not watched it but the stats say Rijeka are on top in terms of possession and corners.

They’re at home second purely because of the way the draw came out rather than due to them being seeded.
    Thanks for info

2 great headers by Drmic, will need to mark him tightly from balls in from out wide.

Good technically as expected, move the ball quickly and, they like ball over the top of the defence and are accurate with them as well. Should be at least 2 or 3 up, 4 good chances, 1 an absolute sitter. Half time 0-0. Not familiar with the opposition but they finished 9th in Croatian league so riejka looking to win comfortably anyway.

Will definitely be a tough game should we play them would need to stay switched on, think we could struggle in the away leg.
I like our defence, but balls over the top are often our undoing, and certainly an aspect that Hanlon and Porteous have struggled on. I’d like to think we’ve got a chance, but that’s an area I’d be looking at working on, providing we don’t suffer an unthinkable arse-collapse in Andorra.

Well impressed that you guys watched the Rijeka game today.
When I looked at their players backstories last week Drmic was the guy that stood out.
28 year old Swiss International striker with 10 goals in 35 caps, on loan from Norwich, played in the German Bundesliga for 7 seasons.
The 2 great headers today confirms him as the man to stop.

Been having a look at Drmic on YouTube
Looks like he was a star of the Bundesliga who lost his way a bit
He gets onto balls over the top and puts them in with great finishes. Good on one on ones.
First season in the Bundesliga he scored 17 goals in 33 games for relegated Nuremberg and as a result moved on to Bayer Leverkusen. Had another 6 seasons in the Bundesliga before going to Norwich and then to Rijeka on loan.
Hopefully he doesn't catch fire against Hibs. If he's good Ron should call Norwich and get him to Easter Road on loan.

Plenty of good buildup play and two well taken goals - but my word, some of those misses! It's not all that often that a missed penalty isn't necessarily the best opportunity not taken.

Two good goals by the main man.
The 2nd was quite typical of him. Broke his neck to get in the box and put it away decisively.
Fortunately the other forwardswere wasteful. Long may that continue.

Do you have to subscribe with bet365 to watch live games and if you do is there a cost

Just need to have money in your account

Defending looked pretty poor from both sides from the highlights at least. Rijeka look dangerous on the break, but I'd like to think we are too with the pace we have upfront.

They played Aberdeen in Europa qualifying in 2019 and beat them 2-0 comfortably in both legs.

Think it will be a very tricky tie, and one we’ll need to be at our best to have a chance of progressing.
They also played each other 2015. 2-2 at Pittodrie and oddly 3-0 Aberdeen in Croatia. It's a tough tie (potentially!) but not impossible.

It will be a tough tie and I would make them favourites, but some people on here and social media are making them out to be Real Madrid. I think we have a good chance against them.

No schoolboy errors over 180 minutes and we have every chance but there is no denying the class of their striker Drmic.

There is no denying the class of Nisbet and Boyle either.

I must have missed their seasons in the Bundesliga and the EPL

Failed miserably in the premier league and got relegated with one of the worst sides to ever Grace the league. He’s half decent but not the world beater folk are making him out to be.

Agreed. He's being talked up in the same way Haaland was against Molde.

Luckily he's nowhere near that level and that's why he's back playing in Croatia not the EPL/Champ.

I can’t believe anyone is getting worked up about playing a side no one had heard of from Croatia. Their national team is excellent but their league is not the strongest. If they were such a great team why are they in the qualifiers for the Europa Conference?

    Every post a troll.
I’m basing on our record against half decent but not top notch European sides over the last few years. Other than Brondy, we’ve invariably been second best.

You spin it the other way and say Drmic couldn't cut it at Norwich and he isn't playing anywhere near Bundesliga football these days. While Nisbet is four years younger, recently played at the Euros, his career is on an upwards trajectory and he is attracting interest from bigger clubs than Norwich or Rijeka.
