Just flicked over and watched about 5 mins of him ripping the piss. Hearts have just brought on their next batch of young superstars and Damour.

Damour was given a 4 year contract and I’m not sure he played for them last season whilst taking home a healthy wage. Still 2 years to go too.

    Maulray Martin all over

I wish 1. He was good and 2. We therefore signed him instead because I would have immediately suggested a fantastic chant for him to the tune of Oh L'Amour.

In the East of Scotland league, Kirkcaldy & Dysart v Rosyth, first league game of the season, Kirkcaldy ran out 2 - 1 winners in a hard fought match at Pennman Park. The allowed a water break in each half, temperature was hitting 25°
Great to get back to actually watch a game with other spectators

Not looking great at the minute, fans on the players back a minute ago Preston should be 0-1 up at least.

I cycled along to Innerleithen to watch Vale of Leithen, for the first time, vs Cumbernauld Colts. Was great to be back and whilst Cumbernauld were the better side first half it took a bad defensive error for their first goal. After that Vale's heads went down and they lost 2 further quick goals before half-time. 2nd half was pretty much a non-event, although temperature probably affected things. Vale had a man sent off and a late goal made it 0-4. Cumbernauld look a decent outfit, but Vale will struggle and it's only Covid that's saved then from relegation the last 2 years. Crowd about 50. The moment I felt I was really back at a match was when the pies ran out at half-time, just before I could get one

Great 3-1 win for Preston up at Kinnoull as well, and Tranent opening their campaign in the premier division with a good win away at Hill of Beath.

Have to say improvements at K&Dysart have been pretty good due mainly to the fact they've moved from the Juniors to the East of Scotland league. Ground is now fully fenced, new toilets, new refreshments kiosk & a bar with outside seating to be used when appropriate.
The standard of football yesterday was decent after an initial scrappy 20 mins, all in all just great to be back with others watching a game.
Note: neater pies or cold drinks ran out & our crowd slightly in excess of 60 by my quick count

Was that a final score in the Celtic game? The implosion continues.

I watched most of the game yesterday and other than a few clever moves I thought overall celtic were poor, particularly Ajeti, did they seriously pay £5m for him ? I felt he did not try a leg. Looking at our own Kevin Nisbet in comparison, who in the two games Ive seen has looked very sharp

Given that they spent most of the summer trying to get Howe then having to find this guy, you may be right

Absolutely, said it at the time but he feels like such a poor appointment considering the money they have.

He won’t see out the season and you may as well hand Rangers the title now. The ground Celtic have to make up is huge.
