    Pelé or Calumhibee ? 😃
I don’t know about Pele’s thoughts on that matter.

    WTF!

Scored 643 goals for Santos in 660 appearances 77 goals in 92 for Brazil

In 1958 at the age of 17 he scored a hat-trick versus France in the World Cup Semi Final and a double in the World Cup Final versus Sweden

Is that a high enough standard for you?
Hang on, it was just short of 1300 goals earlier

Just goes to show how much of a nonsense his record really is. In the space of a couple of hours it’s went from nearly 1300 goals to 700ish. Not a kick on the arse off half.

Rising like a butterfly above Shilton to head the ball, you must hand it to him, a true athlete. Aye there was the other fluke that he scored as well. 😉
Bit like Joe Jordan against Wales 🤔

    SPFL STATEMENT
PREMIER SPORTS CUP – EAST KILBRIDE V KILMARNOCK – 10/07/21

Kilmarnock have confirmed to the SPFL that they included Daniel Armstrong in Saturday’s Premier Sports Cup Group G game against East Kilbride at K-Park Training Academy when the player was subject to a one-match Scottish FA suspension in the competition.

Daniel Armstrong entered the field as a 72nd-minute substitute in a match Kilmarnock won 2-0.

As a result, Kilmarnock have been charged with breaching SPFL Rules and Regulations and the SPFL has arranged a disciplinary hearing for Thursday July 15.

Well documented that Pelé scored 500 goals from 500 friendlies for clubs and country taking him up to 1283 which is almost a goal a game throughout his career which is no bad going

Facts and figures widely available online

Was that the time they forfeited 1 point but kept 2 so that their televised match against Inverness CT still had meaning?
SPFL make up the rules as they go along sometimes

    Jamie Insall’s team knocked out

Interesting that away goals did not count and extra time was played

Aye Motherwell look awful which is good news. Simon Murray could have had a hat trick with a bit of luck. Queens Park playing some good football.

Yep clearly designed to keep them in the competition. Was amazed at the time why Inverness never made much more if it but Robbo was manager so question answered I suppose.

    The Rangers 1 v 1 Arsenal HT

The Rangers sloppy at the back Aubameyang could easily have had a hat-trick missing three gilt edged opportunities

Our friends on the Arsenal message boards will be in meltdown. Every new performance is beating the previous games’ most embarrassing performance ever’ title

Really interesting what’s happening there, a set up with all the advantages imaginable, Arteta with all the pedigree in the world, but seemingly just unable to inspire people and surrounded by ***** people making ***** decisions. Sometimes it’s that simple.

Of course it’s only a friendly and they might end up winning the league but it certainly hasn’t looked like it for a while.
