It’s not my cup of tea to be honest, I don’t mind the chanting and the over the top atmosphere, but shouting for the ball to miss or go in the water is so far removed from the way golf is played that it just seems wrong. Anyone who plays golf will tell you it’s all about being respectful and supportive.

The American golf fans have always been classless and disrespectful. I don't know what it was like pre-Seve, but they've been like that for years.

It was noticeable that the background noise was turned down a lot yesterday. Being noisy and boisterous is one thing, being disrespectful in golf is unacceptable.
