Thought Adams would play with this being the most winnable game we have. And, not that I would play him, I thought Callum McGregor would play. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

4 or 5 big decisions - he’s taken the cautious option every time.
What is it about the Czech Republic that makes our managers **** their pants?
Maybe we should be grateful that at least we’ve evolved to playing one striker?

What team were you expecting? Other than Hanley in for Tierney, and maybe Christie in for Adams it is pretty much the team everyone thought would play.
I'm surprised he's dropped MacGregor, but I think Armstrong has been in better form so seems like a fair call.
My teenagers secondary school didn't communicate anything to the parents about whether they were going to let kids watch the game and the teachers he had refused to say, so he's coming home at lunch time to watch it. Pretty frustrating that we have to allow him to bunk off when schools all over the country have allowed kids to take time off to watch it.

I am suprised at Gilmour not starting.
Not sure if its a 3-5-2 with Christie or Armstrong filling in or a 5-4-1.

If Christie is to take the role of playing off Dykes why on earth do you not play an actual goal scorer to do it? If he’s packing the midfield hopefully McGinn will be pushed further forward as he is the one most likely to score. We must not lose this game so this looks like a set up to achieve that.Unfortunately I think it’s the one we have the best chance of winning.

Is Adams injured as well? Should be starting IMO.

All those that complained about commentary for the England game, well we have Shelly Kerr for us today, she must have something on some one at the BBC

Typically, cautious is the way to go at these tournaments.
Take a drubbing today and our campiaign will be almost over. I don’t blame Clarke for being cautious - it’s in his nature.

And whilst it might appear cautious, it’s not 460 cautious.
But whilst I get your point about what a drubbing today, I wouldn’t want to be in the position where, with hindsight, that later on we might regret being overly cautious early on.
Been a decent enough start anyway, we’re hardly parked on the edge of our own box.

Good start. Lots of energy.

Stuart Armstrong is having a nightmare. Nothing seems to be working for him.

McGinn needs to learn he wont always get the foul just because he sticks his erse into an opposition player, nearly cost us a goal there.
