Are Ukraine not supposed to be the top seeds in this group? They look terrible so far.

A bit like Turkey, they don’t look physically ready. De Jong looks outstanding today breaking from deep…I don’t watch much Spanish football but he seems to have been a failure at Barca, looks the business here.

Great strike 2-1 against the run of play.

He's very much loved at Barcelona I think. Just don't think he gets to play his natural position because of Buesquets.

Depay should get his arse kicked, just kept giving the ball away, the other Dutch players were keeping it fine.

    Represented Aruba as a youth.
His ancestry and the fact Britain had its paws on the island for a while
hints at a slave surname at one point. Sadly.
Sounds likely, Marquees of Bure also Earls of Dumfries, possible connection?

He’s so quick over the first 5 yards, great close control, joy to watch.

Harsh to blame the keeper there, look at how that ball was topspinning off the turf .

He should have cleared his lines earlier and was the player that gave the ball away for the cross

That was the big mistake. Should have booted that into the stand.

Got to give Dumfries credit, not naturally talented but he's got some engine and didn't let the first miss get to him.

De Jong and Wijnaldum stand out a mile in this Dutch team.

McCoist after the 3rd Dutch goal:
It’s amazing watching the different emotions of the football fans there as well. The Ukrainian supporters, ha-ha, the Dutch supporters…… amazing, absolutely amazing. Meaningless twaddle, perhaps a bit of bias towards his orange friends. I generally enjoy his comments but he comes out with crap at times.

The player at fault was the idiot passing the ball back to his keeper in the penalty box instead of clearing it.

There was a small segment about Scotlands game tomorrow at the end of the after match analysis there. About 2 minutes spent on the depth of our squad and how we have several talented players back playing in the premier league now. Neville then somehow managed to steer the conversation back to England and how their England squad has brought some respect back to English football. Unreal!.
