    Harry Cochrane

Just seen he's been appeared on the free agents list. Who was he again? Wasn't he better than Mcginn?

He did look a very good player when he broke into the team- and he did have one game (where they beat us at Tynie in the cup) where he I thought they might have a star in the making.

He is free a transfer, but Hearts offered him a contract, so whoever takes him on, will have to pay a development fee

Only if they offered equal or higher wages than he was on I think...

I thought it was only Irving they offered a contract to?

Strange knocking back a contract at hearts , Can't see him getting a better offer elsewhere

    Irving still stalling
Thought they’d offered HC a contract a few months back, but he turned it down as he wanted out of Hearts

Only thing he showed was the power of PR. Very poor player.

Ridiculous how over hyped he was. Levein imo has a lot to answer for in managing him. Seems to have been seriously overplayed resulting in regular injuries. In the long run don't think the ref done him any favours for not sending him off when trying to kick his way out SJMs pocket at ER. This was the time Hearts had the best young players ever and they released a video re how many young players played in the first team in the last game of the season. May be wrong but don't think any of those players being trumpeted are anywhere near Hearts first team. Of course Levein in the self same preseason then brought in three minibus loads of journeymen to replace the young galacticos. Pure genius by Potter.

"Trumpeted" is the key word there, trumpeted by that trumpet Levein.

What other people saw in HC to fall in line behind Levein and claim he was a great player in the making is beyond me. Always looked ordinary. But the pundits took the line to parrot Leveins assessment.

anyone can fill their team with 16 and 17 year olds and try and claim credit for it but it doesn’t mean the kids are actually any good.

in fairness Cochrane did look like he had something about him 4 years ago, as did the other lad (MacDonald?). It would appear Levein has coached any potential they had right out of them.

A tad harsh on a young man trying to make it in the game, can't have been easy going from potential star to where he is now. Good luck to the laddie now he's left that shower.

As I say, I make no apologies. Hibs are my team, I only care about Hibs. I couldn't care less about them, especially a jumped up teenager who tried to break Hibs legs.

A bit of a dangerous game for him if he's turned them down. He wasn't playing much and rightly wants to go play somewhere but if Hearts are going to hold his new club accountable to a compensation fee he may find it hard to find the right club still. Feel for him a little bit, a tad modern day slavery in the sense that Hearts clearly weren't THAT interested in him as a player but are interested in the asset more.

No, but he did try and break John Mcginn in two, how he escaped a straight red was unbeleivable!

There's been some absolute keech come out of the college creche, or Hearts academy as they call it. The best ones end up at Hibs.

Scored a good goal against Celtic which brought a lot of attention on him. Think he did have potential but needed a manager who would nurture and protect him, and instead found himself under Levein who could do neither. Young enough to turn it around but needs to make the right decisions re his next steps.

feel sorry for him. They done their usual bugging him up and played him till he was knackered. No support from the manager or the club.

So not worth a punt from us? I didn’t really follow his development very closely so no idea how good or bad or even how old he is.

The same Levin who slagged off Dundee United for overplaying young players. John Souttar in particular.

Master stroke by Dr football , hyped the guy up about how good he was also let everyone know how young he was and then over played him to try and prove how good the academy was under his charge.
He will probably end up in Scottish Championship or league one.

Given how harsh we are on our own young players I'd be disappointed if we were too supportive of some wee scrote "tearfully" leaving hearts.

Hopefully he stands out as an example of what happens to any young player that commits to that shower.

Have you never heard of football rivalry? Get a grip. If the laddie cannae deal with the heat of a few hibs.netters having a bit of a banter he'll never deal with the reality of being a professional football player or playing in front of large crowds.

Get it up him and get it up hearts.

    Yasss!!

Exactly! If he's 'man enough' to assault John McGinn with that so called tackle at Easter Road I'm sure he can take a few harsh words.

Also, I just think he's a rank footballer. Never got the fuss with him.
