That is a work of art. Lovely that it's exclusive to us.

Great new kit. Well done Hibs and Joma

Good write up about it on the fishy site, map of Edinburgh with the crest on Leith, fade to the emerald green. What's not to like?

Wonder what the idea behind the thistle was

Imagine having a new strip to reveal and not asking Daz to model it, Hibs are slipping, Ron out

The Thistle is a strange one. No Eden Mill on the back either from what I could see. Hopefully no sponsor below the number like last year.

I love it, it’s a great effort and one that I’ll definitely be picking up.

Very tidy kit. Will be helpful navigating my way back to my mum n dads when I'm steaming after the games too 😂

Not a fan of the map detailing at all. All the other wee details are nice though. Just a shame about the black map all over the front.

    It's bottle green not black

Is the thistle not intrinsically linked to Edinburgh. Is the myth/legend that an invader stood on a thistle while sneaking up to the castle and alerted the castle holders to their presence? Or it could just be a Scottish symbol on a Scottish clubs strip? They never said on the article on the official site though.

Bottle green or black it's not for me. Just too busy. Like the sleeves and the thistle bit at the back.

Hopefully it's a grower or looks better in person.

The thistle looks a bit like our old badge with the purple bits replacing the crown.

I'm interested to hear the idea behind the thistle too (though it doesn't bother me).

Given the choice I wouldn't have the map thing, but it'll probably grow on me (it's infinitely better than the spidey pattern on the Macron training gear).

I look forward to seeing the whole strip to get an idea of the ensemble as well as the change strip.

I like it. Its green with white sleeves, it's got a Hibs badge on it and with the city design its unique to Hibs. If we had gone with Adidas, Nike etc we would never have gotten anything like that. Good start from Joma, be interesting what they have planned for the 2nd, 3rd strips

  21. #530
Not overly enamoured with the map outline but it's a Hibs home top so I'll probably buy it.

Purely speculation but maybe it's the first of a Hibernian 'theme' to feature on the back of this season's strips?

    Home kit - thistle (Scotland)
    Away kit - harp (Ireland)
Third kit - a QR code to purchase a Jack Ross style cardigan

    Fine effort!

Like others a white collar would have been my preference.

And if you are not going pure traditional this is a very acceptable alternative ad will, I’m sure, prove very popular.

I like how the shirt ties into our current marketing slogan of Our City as well. Nice synergy there and maybe a small hint of a slightly more joined up approach in our marketing and engagement.

For the above please read "fat ******* proof"

I would like to keep the Thank You NHS wording somewhere on the strip - back or sleeve, maybe, or even shorts. Think it is still appropriate to say thank you to our NHS staff.

Yep, 'sunshine logo' or something similar where the thistle is possibly

Keeping with the "city" theme, maybe a f***y to represent our neighbours from West of Haymarket

Probably as we are a Scottish club playing in Europe this season, may have something to do with that
