I was impressed with Peter Grant in the way that he conducted himself and his team when we played them recently in the Cup

    Seemed to know his stuff

Another game that Stevie Mallan saved us

He seems like such a fanny IMO 😂

I remember really hating him when he left Hibs, I’m over that now and players leaving doesn’t bother me any more, even the likes of Kamberi doesn’t wind me up.

There’s something about Thomson though that I think just seems like a really annoying guy. It’s like he puts on a serious voice when talking about football.

Even his tweet tonight annoys me.

Might be a great guy for all I know to be fair, just my perception of him.

Know what you mean, but I can't bring myself to hate him because of the big part he played in our Scottish Cup win.

He described himself as a "thinker" on Si Ferry's youtube interview...that's enough for me to come to that conclusion too.

He must love that club. Can’t see Kane going if he returns either.
Why not if Kane wants to leave to win trophies? Would be amazed if he stayed just because Poch came back

Apart from his part in the Scottish Cup he came back and played for Hibs for nothing. Can't be all bad.

I never really bought the whole played for free thing.

He just got a pay off from his previous club, Boro was it? He didn’t play for free, he’d just had his wages paid in advance from his previous club.

Regardless, not really the point, he could have scored a hat trick in the final and played his whole career for free for Hibs, I still think he comes across as a fanny now when I hear him talking. I don’t know the man, he might be a great guy, I’m just making a judgement based purely on hearing him talk about football on TV and from what I see on social media.

If he signed for any other club he would have got a wage, payoff or not. He played for us for free and has my up most respect in doing so.

It wouldn't surprise me if Kevin Thomson ended up back at Hibs in a managerial role.

I'm honestly not surprised at all, IIRC he struggled being away from home when he was at Burnley so I can't even imagine how he would have coped with the Glasgow fish bowl........

I’d be really surprised if he got the job, although they are looking a bit red faced just now
Has a reason been given for Howe turning it down

Seems they couldn’t agree on the rest of the team he wanted to bring in.
