Will be a disaster. Fans will want him gone after every defeat. Tone deaf appointment.

Also, surely you don't think he's a better manager than Ancelotti?

Benitez is a good manager, but this is a very bad idea.
I agree, on a hiding to nothing, too many fans against him and he won’t get any time given his history. A poor start and he’s gone in six months.

Remains highly thought of despite the shambles at Hearts. I wonder if he will ever have a go at being the main man ever again.

Hopkin left Ayr Utd, only been in post since March. His assistant Duff Jimmy is in temporary charge!
Wonder if this is the gig for Yogi?

See Watford have sacked their manager Munoz, sitting 14th in the Premier League. You have to wonder what these clubs expectations are?

TBH you have to wonder why they hired him in the 1st place, decent football career but has almost zero coaching experience except for Dynamo Tbilisi last season.

Didn’t he get them promoted? And they have 7 from 7? Or bad in the grand scheme of things.

He did but took over from Vladimir Ivic in December, I think the squad was already in a favourable position, even then still surprised he got the job in the 1st place. After saying that these lower EPL teams do panic a wee bit and chop and change managers at will, the thought of losing the golden goose money of the EPL makes these boards panicky.

    Here’s a question,to take minds of today.

Who is currently at Watford who has a Hibs connection?

How many managers have they had in recent years? It's a revolving door.

I can’t believe how badly he and they have done this season.

He’ll be gone by the end of this month.

A bewildering appointment in the first place. Dunfermline should have been challenging for promotion this season, where they are now is extraordinary.

DAFC should never have gotten rid of Crawford imo. Had them challenging against strong Hearts/Dundee sides. Would've had them up there again this season

The most bonkers of bonkers decisions.

Crawford resigned citing 'burnout' as the reason.

"They saw my CV on the football pitch," Grant says. "I don't believe in putting a CV in because, if I did, I would blow everybody else away anyway. I don't mean that disrespectfully." Grant talking to BBC Scotland after getting the DAFC job. He's imbued with the Rantic arrogance. Karma comes calling.

Wiki tells a different story of his managerial "abilities"

    He's a total weapon

Not sure about that, my Pars neighbour wanted Crawford out and thought they were underachieving. From what I gather most fans thought the same.
