Wow wasn’t expecting that. Wonder what happened there? He did a great job pulling them out of the relegation spot and to safety.

Looks like he only had a contract until the end of the season

Don't know but Roy Macgregor is one tough, ruthless cookie. Maybe a personality clash but he's used Yogi to keep them up. That job is done.

Micky Mellon leaving United, thought he had done quite a good job for first season back up.

McInnes be favourite for that one I’d imagine

Is Wright out of contract now? Was his deal only until the end of the season?

I thought Killie came into these play offs in relatively decent form.

Think it was to end of the season. Yes they were in reasonable form but they have been horrific in both games.

Thank goodness for that, a woeful manager. Obviously limited by Ashley during his tenure. But ultimately dreadful.

I’m sure he’ll be delighted deep down. It was painful to watch a decent guy suffering like that, a lot of Newcastle fans haven’t covered themselves in glory over the last few months. The guy was working with 1 hand tied behind his back and did really well to keep them in the top league.

    United we stand here....
