Apologies in advance if there's already been a thread on this topic folks but has there been any inclination from Hibs of when the new kit will be revealed or any rumours floating about in relation to a release date???

There's a lot of discussion but very little hard information here: https://www.hibs.net/showthread.php?...cron-2021-2022
Don't remember any rumours about a release date, I think the main persistent rumour was that the new manufacturer will be Joma.

In any case, we will have a different manufacturer next season so will be contracted to wearing Macron for the final

Would have nice if they had produced a cup final edition of the shirt, with the additional embroidered date etc. I suppose they wouldn’t want to left with stock afterwards (no issue if/when we win)but if they were made to order before the game that would take care of that.

Next season kit suppliers are, as rumoured, Joma.
So the dudes that like to knock up some examples can crack on with that knowledge and show us what we can look forward to

Joma? Brutal.
Must have been the best deal available to the club or I'm sure we wouldn't have gone for it.

Hope they make a cracking Hibs strip though

Joma and as we've seen with Macron will make bespoke kits for us, whereas the bigger brands will be templates.
Somebody shared an Umbro kit the other day which was white top/green sleeves with Umbro all over the sleeves, which would have looked awesome with harp/ship/castle designs instead.
IMO aside from the obvious iconic cup winning kit, 3 of the 4 nike kits we had were ****ing awful. Even the purple away top 15/16 was a template of left over Man City kits from about 2 years before.

I think the club want to get the new strip out quite quickly after the end of the season this time, so we might not be waiting long to find out.

I'm sure there was a bit from the Down the Slope interview with Greg McEwan saying that he expected 3 bits of big info on deals to come out in the next 3 weeks (from when the interview took place). I presume 1 of them was Dan MacKay, the others likely to be kit/sponsor related?

It is possibly less of an off the shelf template but it is still a process of choosing elements from their current design catalogue.

With adidas, would we only get stock colour whereas Macron we get to give the specific colour, add bits onto the template?
