    Next seasons Kit

Apologies in advance if there's already been a thread on this topic folks but has there been any inclination from Hibs of when the new kit will be revealed or any rumours floating about in relation to a release date???

That's a great shout tbh mate. Would be the ideal occasion to unveil it aswell. The club should definitely look into this idea.

I think they’d want to keep the thank you nhs message for the cup final

Hopefully they'll release details soon. My little one is doing my head in asking when she can get her new hibs top lol

There's a lot of discussion but very little hard information here: https://www.hibs.net/showthread.php?...cron-2021-2022

Don't remember any rumours about a release date, I think the main persistent rumour was that the new manufacturer will be Joma.

Giving it out free to all fans that attend. Won’t cost us much.

No chance if it’s not going to be Macron

If we get a new kit supplier I would love it to be new balance or umbro

Probably a bit of a risk in terms of marketing tbh. If we were to get beat in the final it would probably sell significantly less as it would always be associated with that game. Of course, the opposite could also be said!

In any case, we will have a different manufacturer next season so will be contracted to wearing Macron for the final

Would have nice if they had produced a cup final edition of the shirt, with the additional embroidered date etc. I suppose they wouldn’t want to left with stock afterwards (no issue if/when we win)but if they were made to order before the game that would take care of that.

Next season kit suppliers are, as rumoured, Joma.

So the dudes that like to knock up some examples can crack on with that knowledge and show us what we can look forward to

    Joma? Brutal.

Must have been the best deal available to the club or I'm sure we wouldn't have gone for it.

I'm sure a few clubs used to play in the new strip (never kit) in the cup final? Maybe I'm wrong or it was the English sides but I'm sure I've seen it before

Is every single kit Joma has ever produced brutal?

Absolutely no idea, haven't seen them all. My mate is a PT and ordered his stuff from them and it was rubbish and he had to send it all back.

Hope they make a cracking Hibs strip though

Joma and as we've seen with Macron will make bespoke kits for us, whereas the bigger brands will be templates.

Somebody shared an Umbro kit the other day which was white top/green sleeves with Umbro all over the sleeves, which would have looked awesome with harp/ship/castle designs instead.

IMO aside from the obvious iconic cup winning kit, 3 of the 4 nike kits we had were ****ing awful. Even the purple away top 15/16 was a template of left over Man City kits from about 2 years before.

Presumably not when changing manufacturers though.

I think the club want to get the new strip out quite quickly after the end of the season this time, so we might not be waiting long to find out.

I'm sure there was a bit from the Down the Slope interview with Greg McEwan saying that he expected 3 bits of big info on deals to come out in the next 3 weeks (from when the interview took place). I presume 1 of them was Dan MacKay, the others likely to be kit/sponsor related?

We were told the new chief executive would be in place by the end of the season. They didn’t know at that point we’d qualify for the Cup Final so I reckon they’ve got about 24 hours to tell us about that or I’m going radge.

We don’t really get bespoke with Macron.

It is possibly less of an off the shelf template but it is still a process of choosing elements from their current design catalogue.

I was just about to ask this, given we keep being told adidas would just be a template design but it seems the majority of teams just get an existing template with macron but in their colours, so what is the difference between a Macron template kit and an Adidas?

With adidas, would we only get stock colour whereas Macron we get to give the specific colour, add bits onto the template?

It’s as bespoke as we want to make it. You clearly can’t create your own weird collar design but they offer about 20 of them that can be mixed with any variation of patterns, and colours.
