    Chicago based Hibs Fans

Asking for my old man who lives in Elgin IL about an hour west of Chicago.

But are there any other Chicago based Hibees who are looking to meet up and watch the Cup Final?

Been a while, but two who are worth calling..... Butch McGuires and Shenanigans on E. Division @State. He may get lucky.

As I said it has been a while, but they are still in business and both liked showing all sports.

P.S. If he does not 'get lucky' he might at least still see the game at one of them ;)

I'm in Chicago. A.J. Hudson's in Lakeview is showing the match according to their website. Celtic pub, but beggars can't be choosers over here, I suppose. Don't know if that's too far for your old man to travel, but I'd enjoy watching the match with some other hibees.

Great! I'd prepared myself to watch the match alone with the dog on hibstv, trying to keep the noise down for the sleeping misses. Anyways, I'll be the fella in green!

If I remember right the mayor just changed the law a year or two ago about how early bars could start serving alcohol on weekends specifically because of the demand from supporters of European football.

    Hi mate.

Thanks for getting back to me. I’ve put it to him and he sounds keen to watch with fellow hibees, just needs to make arrangements to get into the city on Saturday morning and will let me know his plans tomorrow.

Ideally he would coordinate with you guys..he is only 62, but absolutely useless with social media and message boards etc so I will get back to you.

    Cheers

Excellent! I can pm you my number to pass along. If your dad’s plans include the train ( I saw there was a 5:55a (oof)train from Elgin) I can look for a pub closer to the train station.
