    Jamie Murphy

How good is it to see him back on the pitch again?! Really unlucky not to get that curling effort in to the top corner.

Should be playing both games before the final as should Macey.

If he stayed fit, brilliant player

Hope he stays with that way

He looked good when he came on. Good save to stop him scoring.

    He was excellent.

Experience, creative and can score goals.

Hopefully that will give him confidence and can push on for final few games and play his part.

Will be a great option to have in the final, especially if we're chasing the game. He's got the skill and experience to make an impact. Our bench has lacked that recently.

If he’s fully fit, hopefully manage him through the next two so he’s ready to go in two weeks. Macey I agree with now.

No problem on the Macey front as he’ll obviously play the final now but who are we dropping for Murphy to start?

Great to see him back playing, good save by their keeper to stop him from scoring as well

FWIW I would bring Gogic in for the injured Newell on Wednesday and bring Murphy on after an hour to give him another half an hour.
Thereafter give him the first hour against Celtic which will see him tuned up and ready for the final.

Get a draw on Wednesday and the Celtic game is a training game with Gray etc playing to protect the main guys from injury.

If St Johnstone get through to the final, a fit Murphy could make all the difference.

What an important two weeks we have ahead. Could shape the next few years at the Hibees.

Secure third and win the cup.

Sell one or two of our main assets for large fees and recruit well and we will be streets ahead of the rest.

Murphy looked really good when he came on.

The team today, barring any injuries should be the team for the final though.

A fit Murphy will be a huge advantage to Hibs for the Cup Final and next season. Only worry I have is injury problems that have plagued him recently, but there is clearly a top player there.

I agree too and it would help get rid of the memory of his last performance at Hampden against them. He looked sharp today so fingers crossed.

Good player but extremely one footed for a professional.

So was Davie Cooper. And so is Stevenson.

    It's not a major hindrance.
Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

Didn’t he score a cracker against Dundee with his left foot? Could be wrong. Not that it matters of course, he’s that quick that even when he goes outside he still gets across defenders.

I’m still waiting for him to do something truly decisive.

Was decent when he came in. Shouldn’t be starting, but having the option on the bench could be massive.

Agree most modern footballers have a dominant foot. Last real two footed player I saw at ER was Joe McBride.

The guy is a quality player no doubt. A huge asset to the club. Just needs to stay fit. Could win the cup for us.

Assume you haven't watched his games. Brilliant fin Sh v .Celtic and Dundee won penalties against St Mirren and Aberdeen.

I have and I don’t think he has done enough in his time here.

Done well today but yes has missed too many games due to injury.. Has obvious quality as his wee cameo today showed.
