    Man of the Match

Nisbet played very well, Boyler had a great 2nd half, Hallberg was excellent as was Irvine...but my MOM goes to Darren McGregor..we have been missing Scott Allen's Hair massively this season, and Darren has obviously been working very hard on his flowing locks while he has been out of the team. He had that "Silkience Does It Again" look when he came on and some of the follow through from his fringe when he headed the ball was magnificent. Near the end he cleared the ball solid and long and then swept his mane back with his right hand beautifully...A born Leader and a beautiful head of hair.

    Halberg for me.

Good player and underrated in the looks stakes. Daz sets the bar, Newell is conventionally handsome but Halberg goes about his business quietly.

Hallberg, Macey or Doig for me. Doig was given a difficult task against McNulty and did well, leaving him to try and play balls intended to go out to see to player injuries and the like.

Hallberg was my MOTM , was at it right from the beginning. He can be very happy with that performance.

For my man of the match you could PERM any one of the team today

Halberg was excellent and he showed he's a key member of the squad. Stepping in and playing well when required

    Melker was superb. MOTM

I think its very hard one as they all grafted ,and many had pieces of better quality than them .Nisbets goal,Maceys save,Boyles runs,Irvines simple pass to Nisbet,Doig keepng Mc Nulty shackled, and even Porteous taking the yellow card for the team when Shankland got into good position.Daz fitted in smoothly,Mr constant Mc Ginn, Murphys shot brilliantly saved ,in all a very good team performance with all playing their part.Jack said he felt they were all determined in training to put previous disappointments behind them.

If that's the criteria, I think Kevin can forget about any MOTM awards for a while

Going to be a bit controversial here and say I thought Doig got caught out of position a couple of times in the first half by McNulty, but still had a good game. Personally I would have given MOM to Nisbet just because IMO we are a much better team with him in the side and playing well. He put a good shift in today as well. It's just my opinion though.

Irvine put in a great shift and was outstanding for the first assist.

Also, his hair was well protected throughout.

His passing was very poor though

Hallberg for me as well. Thought he was brilliant, rarely wasted the balm and got stuck in. If Newell is injured I'd be happy with him stepping up.

The lay off for the first goal was sublime.

Hallberg, closely followed by Irvine...... Nisbet wasn’t too shabby either. An efficient win and performance for the most part. It would be a bit churlish to mention the mistakes but I hope JR has a quiet word with the offenders.
