I think it is stupid to knowingly put out a weakened side for a game this important.

A quick sub to Hibs TV international will get you the game with no hassles.

Weakened team ? In what way ? Take it you mean the keeper as that's the only unforced change, which imo doesn't weaken us at all.

Happy with the team. If the Boss has said Macey was the Cup Goalie then he has to stand by that or players won't trust him. Hallberg is the obvious choice to replace Gogic too. I just hope Irvine does well today. I think he is quite lucky to keep his place.

If we'd had Macey in goals for our last two semi finals we maybe wouldn't have lost

    Everyone relax, we’re winning this.

    Hallberg to score.

Me too, but there's nowt we can do about it except pray.

Hopefully Macey has nothing to do, and we win 5-0.

All we can do now is get behind Macey and see what he can do.

There's no doubt that it is a risk from Ross to put him in today but as others have said previously we have a good record in the cup with #2 goalies...

  18. #17
Going to pour my first drink soon. Early start and put some chances away to make us all feel less nervous.

I suppose you could be right, but you would perhaps question if we dropped one of our forwards for those games and played Drey Wright.

You could say we might have won those games too, but i'm sure we'd not have wanted our 2nd string players replacing any of our first choice beforehand.

    Happy with that team.

Good on Jack Ross with the Keeper decision.

    Wind up?

I think most fans would agree that this is a huge call and that it is very arguable that this is our best team.

Ah yes, the second biggest event of the day.

The bench is so weak, fills me with dread to be honest, nobody there to offer any positive changes if things not going well.

Couple of injuries and 2-3 players out on loan that would be bench fillers have left us weak beyond the the 1st team.

Jamie Murphy could have a positive impact.

According to a few we could maybe bring on Rocky to strengthen us if needed?😉

Hallberg owes us a performance today, he better deliver.

Absolutely criminal for Ross to be starting the back up keeper in a game of this magnitude. If we lose this because of a Macey mistake there'll be no recovering from that decision.

I' m not sure what I am more nervous about - the game, or the nuclear meltdown on here if we lose.

On their day both Murphy and Magennis can change games. We've not yet seen the best of either of them
