He is a very good photographer and that is a cracker. I'd have zoomed in even further if it was mine but then ER would have maybe meant more to me. He should be able to sell a few of them

Met Tom a few times when I’ve been out with the camera. He’s a great photographer and a lovely guy. I might take this opportunity to show off my own too

No idea how to post a larger JPEG

He certainly seems to have a great sense of humour and outlook on the world.

    Great photo BTW.

That's lovely. I'd have it framed and up on my wall.

    The view from Carlton Hill.

The stadium is visible from quite a number of Hills in Edinburgh.

    Blackford, Braids and Pentlands too.

(I assume that's the poster's Etsy, referred to in their profile, rather than someone ripping them off?)

It certainly is! I just was hesitant to post it and risk the wrath of the Admins for breaking any rules

I’m in a horrible dilemma now. The Easter Road sunset photo is my best selling photograph. People buy these for the emotional attachment to the place and a football stadium fits that idea perfectly.

I’m sure there are loads of Hearts fans out there that would love a great shot of Tynecastle. I’m not sure one exists if I’m honest......but for the sake of making money do I try to find out? Head before Heart.

I count myself lucky that we have a stadium situated in a part of Edinburgh that is unbelievably picturesque when pictured from Calton Hill or Arthur Seat. Half the work is done for me, I just need to point the camera

I'm afraid you've missed the boat on that one – someone will be raking it in off this photo of Tynie looking its absolute best:

    I was the same.
There will be someone on here better qualified than me to tell you, but if you open an account (free) at IMGBB.com you can upload images there and cut and paste them fullBBCode linked here. Like the attached.

Now I realise that’s not the best explanation you’ll ever get but go to that site and have a fiddle about with it, you’ll get there.

I always wanted one with the lights on but most times I'll be at ER. This is the best I have done. It was a Scotland game and the weather was horrific. Blowing a gale and peeing it down. Is there any way of knowing when the lights get switched on barring the obvious, when a night fixture is on.

that’s what I was think. Craiglockhart with the long lens.

was hoping to get some drone shots of Easter Road with the floodlits on. Stadiums are considered an “authorisation zone” so my drone can’t get near it.

Rightly so, but have you approached Hibs to ask about getting permission?
