Steven Gerrard is manager of the year all day long. Like him or hate him, he is a class act.

    The token Rangers YPOTY nominee.

Ahh you mean the accidental spelling of his name with 2 T's - forgive me for not knowing how to spell a young Rangers players second name.
Wasn't meaning your spelling. Just don't know who he is.

Could very well end up winning less trophies than St Johnstone with god knows how many times their budget

I've edited my post - sorry for being an arse.

    He's a full back - Rangers player.

Patterson seems to be a decent young player but he has only played something like half a dozen league games for the huns....should not be near YPOTY.

Paterson is understudy to the player who will presumably win the senior POTY - you surely can't just have a wee cameo appearance of 6 or 7 starts and win YPOTY.

He does look like he has a big future, but come on.

Personally feel that a Celtic or Rangers manager need to do something truly exceptional to be considered for MOTY. Something like Brendan Rodgers invincible treble for instance. Rangers haven't even made the semi of either cup. Davidson is the winner for me however as someone said, if Hibs finish 3rd and win the cup having been in the semi of the other cup too it would seem pretty ridiculous that he wasn't included.

Ross should definitely have been quotes for the manager’s award. Great to see Josh Doig getting the recognition, though.

I’m not sure about that in regards to the OF. Going a full league season unbeaten is quite an achievement.

That being said, it should be Clarke for me.

Exactly how I saw it. Massive game for a youngster and came through it well. the experience will make him better next time around.

He needs that experience. An example was an opportunity last ten to either drag the ball upfield or play a pass. He cuts inside, loses it pretty easily at halfway and we are under a bit of pressure with him out of position. Love him to bits though and at 18 he is beyond his years.

Yep remember that run as I was willing him to keep going forward, not sure why he cut inside. Hard to see the full picture on the TV, but don't think anyone was directly in front of him. I think Irvine done something similar instead of knocking the ball to the right where Hallberg was in plenty space he went left and we lost possession (I could be wrong with both players lol).
