Evening news saying we’ve got a few injury doubts
They named Cadden, but he didn’t play at the weekend
Jamie Murphy will be one I would imagine as well as Cadden.

Did Josh Doig limp off when he was substituted on Sunday?

Not sore, but Boyle took some amount of bashing

Ross confirmed Murphy is unavailable, as is Mackie. Cadden is one of the 'in doubt', he was in line to start Vs Stranraer but picked something up beforehand.

Problem with both those players now is they need game time to get match fit but we have important games coming thick and fast so same small group are going to have to go again a few new injuries are not what we need and suspensions could also start to impact

A win tonight would be huge and would put Aberdeen under pressure against Celtc. Anything but a win will give them a boost. We’ve thrown in a few shocking performances at home this season, hopefully we avoid that tonight and give them a doing.

And if Celtic miss chances like they did v Rangers Aberdeen could Nick it one nil it’s shaping up to be a crucial game

I know that fans’ opinions and expectations count for little, especially when not attending matches, but I’ve never seen such contrasting comments on Celtic and Aberdeen forums. The ‘best fans in the world’ think they have no chance tonight or, at best, couldn’t care less about the game. On the other hand, Aberdeen fans are confident of a win. Bottom line is that we get on with the business professionally and keep the ball in our court.

Sure the move to 6pm was at the request of the club(s).

it was, both Hibs and Livi confirmed it was at both of their requests, although no reasons were given afaik

Absolutely. A win tonight is crucial even if Aberdeen do lose to Celtic.

If we both lose then the gap remains at 4 points and it means that Aberdeen are still just 2 wins away from us. We probably still remain favourites but it would become very cagey in that scenario. I know it would also be 4 points if we both win (or draw) but I do think a defeat tonight would be damaging regardless of what Aberdeen do.

If we lose and Aberdeen win and the gap becomes 1 point then I think they then become favourites.

Huge night for us tonight, no slip ups please.

I'm the same forgot it was on early and not sure I'll get back in time now - Does anyone know if it gets repeated on Hibs tv later, might try and avoid the score until then or just catch Sportscene later on.

It can be well into the small hours before you get a full replay. Sat up many times in the past when working away for the midnight upload which never happened!

I agree with you but if you look at it Aberdeen are really struggling to score goals' they have only managed to score 6 goals in 15 league games this year and only scoring more than once in one game with a 2-0 win against Motherwell at home. I think they are still really going to struggle to find the net in the remaining games. I think even if they do score tonight I can't see them winning. We have managed to score 15 goals in 13 League games this year. I think we really are a stronger team this year. All we have to do is avoid one of our blips. We must win tonight. We just hope this does not make the players nervy. I think in quite a few of our league games at home we have been to slow to get a grip of games. We need a good start tonight for sure.

Amongst all the other news like Super Leagues and season tickets, we have a large matter of a massive game on Wednesday night
Off the back of a good performance at Stranraer, will Jack stick to the same staring line up v Livvi, or will Gogic comeback in

Aberdeen v Celtic don’t ko until 7.45, so 3 points for the Hibees, will put them under severe pressure
A Hibs win and a Dons defeat will give us a 7 point cushion, with 3 League games to play

Think Darren Jackson is on Hibspass
Don’t think it’s pushing it to say that this is our most important game of the season by far, the rewards for third place this season are substantial and could cover all of the losses Covid has wreaked upon Hibs as a business as well as providing some funds for a player dividend next season. Let’s hope we start this game with far more tempo and show Livi from the off that we are right up for this. Ultimately all that matters tonight is the three points, doubt that Aberdeen side will take much from either of the ugly sisters so three points tonight is as big as it gets, let’s get it done !

I wish we had more options up front like a Cummings type player

I think Aberdeen will take something tonight. Completely meaningless game for Celtic with most of their players thinking about moving on. Vital we win tonight.

Presumably a good night's sleep and bit more rest before the cup game.

Scott Brown will be wanting a Sheep win. Be interesting to see if he plays.

I agree but Aberdeen have started to show signs that they are coming out of their rut.

They had a really important win against St Johnstone in their last league match and came back twice to win on penalties against Livingston in the cup at the weekend.

I don't see them getting anything tonight but if they do we need to have won our match first. If we lose it gives them a big incentive.

A win tonight may well be enough for third regardless of what the Dons get v Celtc. Livi still have a very slim chance of Europe but they may already see the season as a success and their form has certainly tailed off. Massive game and if we play the way we have recently we should be fine. 2-0 Hibs with Goals from Boyle and Nisbet

Scot played and won against Celtic even though he was moving to them from Hibs.

If results go our way we'll be seven points clear with nine left. It'll be done.

And they would need 8 points, as our goal difference is much better
