    Passports To The Ready

    Damn fine show.

Shan’t even attempt to understand all the permutations of what competition and which round etc until the dust settles, but anyone jotting down some key probable dates would be welcome.

What are the chances of us say being able to drive/ferry to Europe if flying is still a no-no?

It's a difficult one, as the rules for entering the country have changed a number of times in the Netherlands, and recently in France as well.

The Netherlands had banned people travelling in from the UK, and most of the ferries were cancelled for months. It's supposed to be re-opening next month... but they've said that before a couple of times and then extended the entry ban.

There's also the issue that a number of countries have had off/on quarantine for visitors from abroad. Germany, for instance, only recently removed the need for UK citizens to quarantine for (I think) 10 days upon arrival.

Loads of countries are still struggling with Covid and will also be on the UK's 'red list', meaning you'll also have to self-isolate at great expense when you return.

Basically, don't get your hopes up.

So we probably wont be able to take our seats at Easter Road, but we can travel to Europe to watch the games - I doubt it will be possible.

Dates of the draws for all Europa League and Conference League rounds:

    Second qualifying round- 16th June
    Third qualifying round- 19th July
    Play off round- 2nd August
    Group stage round- 27th August.

So if us or Rangers win the Scottish Cup then the draw dates we can look forward to are the 2nd August and 27th August. (assuming 3rd is also wrapped up).

I can see the majority of season ticket holders being at Easter Road for the first league game. Theres gonna be fans at Hampden for the Euros and that is 2 months earlier

Aside from Covid, we’ll also need to understand what the implications of travelling are from a Brexit perspective. I’d imagine very few of us have travelled to Europe since 1 January. Who knows what it will be like?
