I don’t think he’s better than Luton just now. He’ll play regularly at English Championship level, and if you do well there you can get picked up into the Prem.

It’s up to him to go do the business now.

Wow. I'd be underwhelmed if Hibs were in for that boy
Underwhelmed by someone who has scored 31 goals really.

Charlie Mulgrew signs for Dundee Utd.

Probably a decent signing if he stays injury free

Probably a lot of pish but that’s a Brighton fan saying Romaric Yapi will be a Hibs player next season. It’s a rumour so thought I’d be as well posting it on here.

Young attacking right back, looks lightening quick from a YouTube clip.

Seems a bit of a joke character. Wouldn't read too much into that

Tavernier, goldson, barisic, Kent, kamara, Morelos would all get plenty game time at sides like palace, Southampton or Burnley imo.

Arfield and Davis are obviously past their prime but both have plenty of premier League appearances.
Yeah bottom half PL teams certainly.

Losing Edouard and bringing in Charlie Wyke would be up there with the very worst pieces of transfer business of all time.
Was speaking to a Dundee supporter who reckoned Alex Harris swap for Martin Boyle was the worst ever.

Yes that was a beauty too. Not sure if we then paid a fee when he came back from Dundee United.

Campbell away to Luton. Gutted with that. I'd have loved to get him.

I'm sure I read exactly this when Ryan Fraser moved to Bournemouth. He did OK.

Never thought that Hibs had a chance in getting Allan Campbell.

Hibs have no chance in competing with the gelt an English Championship club can offer.

To those posts casting aspersions on Luton Town, please note they finished 12th in the Championship last season. Not too bad for a club their size.

Is it good move for Campbell, only time will tell.

Come on Bingo anyone who does well down there puts themselves in the window for a decent move …even in struggling teams good players are noticed .. …recently Luton themselves got 6 million for Justin who went to Leicester and 4mill for Stacey to Bournemouth..

It’s a fantastic move for him - great standard and great opportunity…

I just think players like him are 10 a penny and he’s more likely to get lost in amongst many other similar players in a struggling team

I am still a bit puzzled as to how Brighton's under 23 captain ends up at our nearest rivals literally weeks after we announce a partnership with them.
    Utterly bizarre.

I’m still in the huff with Hibs but I don’t think there’s anything Bizarre about it?

We probably just never wanted him or it wasn’t a position we could guarantee him much Football.

Maybe so but even if that is true, and we don't know it is, its pretty strange that the first player Brighton send out since we hooked up with them goes to our main competitor.
Just seems a bit off to me.

Aye I think it’s a strange one as well to be honest

You’d think there’d be an understanding that as part of the partnership players don’t go out to strengthen your partners direct rivals

Particularly when it seems several clubs down south wanted him too.

As much as it’s a partnership I’m not sure it changes their operating model and if we don’t want him it’s not for us to say where he ends up

I get that but of all the places to end up. Can you imagine if he does really well? Are you sure we actively turned him down?

Imagine he turns out to be brilliant, would almost be worth it to see the reaction on Twitter.

FWIW I personally think you’re putting too much on what’s only really a strategic partnership.

I’d imagine a conversation will have been had with regards to youngsters that we may be interested in or they feel could be good for us, his name presumably never came up as one we wanted so other offers will have been considered.

I see we’ve sent Ryan Shanley on loan to Edinburgh City, I don’t see that as is shafting Stenhousemuir.
