Crikey, sure the fans will be delighted with that

Can't quite believe this, he looked an absolute huddy with Sunderland when JR was manager.

On paper he looks nowhere near good enough to improve Celtic.

If they lose Edouard and bring this guy in then they’ll be significantly worse.
Edouard and Ajer are their best two players and Elyounoussi is very good.
I can't see how they can replace these guys within the window without spending a fortune if these players move on as we think they will.

Losing Edouard and bringing in Charlie Wyke would be up there with the very worst pieces of transfer business of all time.

    Pleasing.

Celtic look utterly determined to reduce their standing in the game. It’s all got a bit of an Arsenal over the last 10-15 years feel to it, like they’re determined to be hamstrung by design rather than by accident.

Our whole centre midfield is quite uninspiring imo. Functional to an extent, but quite dull.

Certainly an area I’d be looking to improve on considerably.
Attacking midfielders that don't score goals.

A decent player but no better than English Championship level.
Enough to keep Cellik ahead of the likes of Hibs but not troubling Rangers
The majority of the Rangers team that won the league are decent players but no better than English Championship level.

The great thing about Rangers last season was that they were more than the sum of their parts whereas Celtic where the opposite. They have a half dozen EPL level players with a good supporting cast of senior pro's.

He’s never even played Championship level.

I saw a few games when he played for Bradford, he’s nowhere near good enough if Celtc are looking to win the league back from Rangers.

    Didn't realise that.
A 28 year old guy who hasn't been above the 3rd tier is a strange target for them.
31 goals for Sunderland last season. Looks poachertastic on youtube.
Would suit Hibs if we lose Doidge at the end of his contract next summer.

I'd bite your hand off for a 30 goal a season striker from league 1.

Neither had I. It shows how poor his record was before last season when you see he’s still only scored slightly better than 1 in 3 over his Sunderland career even after a season like that.

I wouldn't however be happy if I was a Celtic fan and he was coming in to replace Edouard.

If they’re looking at moving on Edouard, Griffiths and Ateji(is he still there?), and Wyke is coming in as part of the overhaul then that’s not terrible, but he can’t be the direct first choice replacement for Edouard.

Actually, fingers crossed that is what they’re doing, more chance of them being *****.

I think replacing Johnny McLeod with Ally McLeod(1) runs it pretty close.

They have managed to get the the latter stages of the Europa League the past 2 seasons raising the Scottish coefficient along the way. I think that's a bit above English Championship surely !!!

This is the sort of thing you hear on Talk Sport haha. I don't like them but they have a lot of quality players in that team.

How many are good enough currently to play in the EPL week in week out?

Probably a lot of pish but that’s a Brighton fan saying Romaric Yapi will be a Hibs player next season. It’s a rumour so thought I’d be as well posting it on here.

Young attacking right back, looks lightening quick from a YouTube clip.

Tavernier, goldson, barisic, Kent, kamara, Morelos would all get plenty game time at sides like palace, Southampton or Burnley imo.

Arfield and Davis are obviously past their prime but both have plenty of premier League appearances.

Worth remembering the huddy they had on loan from Nottingham Forest, Worrall his name is I think, is now a £10m target for West Ham.

For me Aribo, Kamara, Tavernier, Goldson, Barisic, Kent, Moreleos and Helander. They also have players who probably couldn't get a game in the EPL these days but have hundreds of games at that level between them e.g. Davis, Defoe and Arfield. I think they have atleast half a team that could easily play at that level.

Rangers have a good 5 or 6 players who start every week who would easily make it in the EPL imo.

    You think?

Terrible move on my opinion. Pretty small club that never seem to do anything, he’ll spend every season with them losing most games and scrapping for every point. I think he’ll be soon forgotten about down there.
