That's comically mistimed and misjudged but I don't see it as being all that much worse than what happens multiple times a game when players make more of an effort to stop the opponent playing the ball than they do to just play the ball.

The difference is that when most players do it they’re in control of the ball letting it run out of play, she was nowhere near the ball.

What makes it totally different and worse to what goes on in most games is she chose to run away from the ball, which she was basically standing over and could have done anything she wanted with, and elbow her opponent in the tits.

I was going to write that surely not as bad as one I can recall from Prestley or Berra (can't recall who) on Stephen Fletcher at Easter Road, who was taken out leaving the ball to run through to Gordon in goal.

But, yes it's much more blatant. She actually deviated her run by two yards to block the NI player.
