I’d have thought he’d have some marks/bruising after his assault by Kamara, if it was as bad as he claimed. Has there been any pictures of his injuries ?

Kieran Trippier was given a 10 week ban (12-14 matches) for telling his mate he was moving to Spain, breaking betting regulations. Good they’ve got their priorities in order

It's football. Money comes before everything else.

How bad did he claim it was, and have Rangers even denied it happened?

    From BBC Sport:

Slavia had asserted that Kudela was subject to a "brutal attack" by Kamara, which was "carried out with full intensity in order to injure and cause physical damage".
They said Uefa delegates witnessed the incident, along with Rangers manager Steven Gerrard.

Not read Rangers take on it.

I’m presuming his ban is based on some form of evidence/eye witnesses so they must have had something to go on to ban him.

It was witnessed by UEFA delegates, so evidence of his bruises obviously weren’t necessary.

Not suggesting it was just if it was as bad as they portray we’d have seen pics as we did with their keeper.

We didn’t need to see the cuts to see the tackle and the punishment it deserved though.

Assault is assault - if it was witnessed (and this should have been easier than the racist attack to prove) then it doesn’t really matter how hurt he got.

The racist abuse would not have been different if Kamara had laughed it off, said it didn’t bother him and instead he pitied anyone ignorant enough to come out with that nonsense. Nah, it would still have been racist abuse.

    The Rangers' statement:
We welcome the suspension imposed on Ondrej Kudela. This not only vindicates Glen Kamara’s evidence but underlines the severity of the comment, given the number of games which have been imposed by UEFA.
Nevertheless, we believe the sanctions imposed on our two players (Glen Kamara and Kemar Roofe) are severe. We have written to UEFA, seeking clarification in writing on the basis that we intend to appeal the suspensions on both of players.
We will make no further comment on this matter.

Rangers obviously feel it was a punishment that fits the crime.

I think the point is that it was reported as a brutal assault.

    United we stand here....

It's pretty disgusting that the Rangers are planning to appeal Roofe's ban. He could easily have killed the keeper.

Yup. I understand why the racist incident been the focus but its meant the "tackle" by Roofe has been completely ignored. It was disgraceful challenge. And it looks like he hasn't apologised. Classic hun behaviour.
