    Artistically who is your favourite artist from each nation? Could be an actor comedian sports person or musician/pop artist.

    Thinking initially in my frame ... John Lennon, Billy Connolly although love Kevin Bridges (currently my fav comic fullstop) Shirley Bassey or Tom Jones, Oscar Wilde. Im giving it more thought tho.

    How does one determine their favourite person. My solution was to ask myself who, that has been alive in my lifetime, would I like to spend a few hours with, chatting.

    I couldn't narrow it down so I've listed 3 for each nation. Sorry if that's cheating.

    Ireland: Dermot Morgan, Rory McIlroy, George Best

    Wales: Neil Kinnock, Anthony Hopkins, Tommy Cooper (4th only on a technicality was Terry Jones)

    England: Peter Kaye, David Attenborough, David Bowie

    Scotland: Billy Connolly, Karen Dunbar, Nicola Sturgeon

    Slade, the only comedian me and my parents loved, the reason I support Hibs and the narrator on Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds album.
