Very surprised Mcgregor isn’t playing given their threat from set pieces.
I’m with you on McGregor too

I’d have had Mcgregor in with Porteous taking McGinn’s place.

Agree don't understand that especially with not playing Doidge either. Personally would have played Porteous for McGinn but maybe starting with a back 4.

Didn't realise Ppv was 17.50 seems a bit steep.

    I think it’s a back 4 today

Looks like a back three with Doig and Cadden at wing back?

Gogic in the side will make massive difference. The way he keeps tight to his man all game is massively underappreciated by some, it's the kind of thing that you don't notice what an effect he has until he's out the side.

He must make the opposition midfielders 2nd guess themselves a lot thinking he's probably on their heels if the turn round.

I'm also a bit surprised about dropping both Doidge and MacGregor considering their clear strength at set pieces just now. That being said, the middle of the park looks really good for us in that side so maybe it will pay off.

Porteous, Hanlon, McGinn and Nisbet couldn't stop the aerial threat of St Johnstone in the Semi and that lost us the match.
The only selection change from that game to this is Nisbet for Murphy.
At the very least Daz should be playing in the centre of a back 3 with Hanlon and Porteous either side of him with two of them shutting off Rooney at set pieces.

Caveat - I am presuming Rooney is playing today

    Rooney not playing
Our back 3 will be relieved .

Someone on here mention earlier in the week that he was injured. Can only presume JR knew he was out as well hence our team selection.

Thought magennis would be back in the squad by now unless he isn’t making it due to other reasons

Love this patter about McGinn being poor. Guy has been good all season. Last 2-3 games he's been poor? Not for me. 2 of those games were comfortable wins in which the opposition hardly got a sniff.
I'm with you on this, been one of our most consistent performers for sure.
