We were all over the place without Gogic at 11v11, Hamilton created more chances in 10 minutes than most teams create in 90 when Gigic is playing. He's been great for us and I would play him most weeks, we lose the midfield when he doesn't play.
You could say the same about the St Mirren away game. Gogic and Irvine in the middle and they dominated us until the red card. It was only ten minutes last week, they started quicker but was hardly an indicator of how the game would go. Newell when fit has to play, he dictates the game and is the one player in our squad who will take the ball and keep it. Teams might not run through us with Gogic and Irvine but we sure as hell won’t dominate the ball with them.

When was the last time outside of the Championship that we won 5 games in a row?

I’d replace Murphy with Nisbet but have Nis upfront with Doidge and have Boyle in Murphy’s position.

You must be joking, Boyle upfront has scored and set up goals as well as destroying 2 teams by getting their players sent off. Need to leave him where he is.

The glory days of Colin Calderwood’s time with new signings Sodje and Palsson looking the part!

Regardless of your opinion I don't think calling one of our players a limited battering ram is the best idea.

We ran At Johnstone ragged for the first half hour in the semi and lost it when they scored. Who is to say that wouldn't have happened last week?
Absolutely nothing to say that wouldn't have happened, however that is conjecture whereas what I said was fact.

I'd like Nisbet up front in place of Doidge, and Gogic back in place of Newell today.

It’s great we’re all talking about who should be playing after 4 straight wins. You’d think the team would pick itself at this stage, but we’ve got such a strong bench it doesn’t. I’d freshen it up a bit today and bring in Nisbet and probably Porteous for Murphy and big Daz. Irvine could possibly do with a break as well and Gogic could replace him. I’m mindful of those games after Christmas when the players looked out on their feet after not getting much rest.

    United we stand here....

Would be carnage dropping any of them for Gogic IMO if they were both fit. Newell is the all round footballer and Irvine is the legs. We don’t need a limited battering ram at home to Motherwell, same as we didn’t need one vs Hamilton.
Worst comment of the month award.

Wish I was as limited a footballer as Gogic.

Doig out injured. Stevenson in for him the only change.

Doidge was struggling with an ankle injury too I think but glad he’s made it

I see that we have Mac(e)y Gray on the bench. I guess she is doing the half time entertainment. Looking forward to it.

Amused to see both the singer Macey Gray and coronation Street character Allan Bradley on the bench today 😁

You’re a week too late with that. Think it was CWG that cracked it last week, even the half time entertainment bit.

Hope Scott gets some time today. Maybe when we’re 2/3 up. Which take me back to prediction time. 3-0.
