"Rangers Covid Party" was my favourite song by The Fall.
Do you think your security can keep you in purity, you will not shake us off above or below. Scottish friction, Scottish fiction

I said this a few days ago. Gerard wanted to move on (and said so) and needless to say so have the Scottish media.
If it was us Tom English would be all over it.
Not a peep.

Yeah, if this is about the previous event with the five Rangers players, I'm struggling to see how anybody could think it was covered up.

All the offending (offensive?) players are out of isolation and have been allowed straight back into training. Matter dealt with internally.
Farsical. Stan Laurel will be fuming that they have not been made an example of, esp with this being the second such breach by Sticky players after Jones and Edmundson (who got seven game bans). She will probably get asked what she is doing about it by Oliver Hardy at the next FM questions.

You can see why the club have let then right back into training etc now... Do it any later and they will taint their league win. They just make up the rules as they go along.
Rotten club to the very core.
Hopefully they get absolutely HAMMERED from the beaks at SFA. They have to.

I think tbf, they've not been as harsh on these 5 as they were on the other two.
Maybe that's because tavernier is injured and one of them is a right back, maybe it isn't.

These players were wrong. They deserve to be punished and have been. I would hope as well as a fine from the police there was a hefty fine internally too but that's between the club and the players
I do wonder if it was 4 young Hibs players if we'd have the same clamour to kick them out of the game, tar and feather them or if it is just because they play for a rival team?
I'm not sure the Scottish Government would have any real support, either from the public or legally, for shutting down the leagues or calling out the club/players when what happened went on without the club's knowledge and was dealt with by the letter of the law when it was discovered.

I don't see how people can say this was covered up. It was all over the news.

I actually think it might be an idea for The Rangers to announce what punishments they dished out to the players involved.
They don't have to go into full detail, but it might help clarify to the general public that they have taken this seriously and acted accordingly.
