    Like Salah, Zlatan etc?
It's a choice each of them will have made, probably in consultation with their clubs.

No, like a Hibs player who doesn’t want his private business disclosed.

Some players won't mind folk knowing and some will.

Good news from GO'C. And good use of the apostrophe in it's too.
Although if we were going to mark his grammar...

For me the most important thing is that the player returns to training none the worse for the virus.

Next is the hope that he isolated quick enough that it doesn't spread to other members of the squad.

It shouldn't be too hard to narrow it down, look at the players listed on Saturday and that's 20 ruled out.

Match the remaining ones to GOC's clue and it should become narrowed down to one or two.

He's not had the best of starts but at least he has another 4years left to prove himself. Hope he recovers with no issues!

Out of all the players in Scotland (and England - or anywhere else for that matter) that have tested positive have any of them caught it bad I wonder?

If a player caught the "long covid" it would surely keep them out for a protracted period from what I've been hearing about it. So we would surely know about it by now.

Lascelles and Saint Maximin at Newcastle had long covid and it kept them out for quite a while as they recovered.

Footballers are young, fit and healthy. There chances of getting very ill are extremely low.

Not Ofir either, he passed me at the bus stop on Pilrig Street yesterday with Sun on a wee bike. I nodded to him as he went past then whispered "sign a new deal" but I think I was drowned out by the traffic. He is an awfy handsome fella up close

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Obviously - but I keep getting told about young fit people getting long COVID so footballers present a ready set of data from which to analyse the prevalence

Glad to hear that they recovered - looks like it kept them out of action for 6-8 weeks.

It seems to me (quite happy to be corrected!) That it is like when a plane crashes.
All over the news, people then assume it is a regular occurance. But, it's on the news because it is so uncommon..

    Same as long covid maybe?!

(Obviously not taking away from the seriousness of it for people who do get it).

A good friend of mine who runs 10kms a lot in London caught COVID and his lungs are covered in blood clots - he'll be on blood thinners for the rest of his life.

There's the potential of a COVID case really buggering up a sportspersons career, irregardless of their fitness, which makes the breaches at Rangers all the more infuriating IMO.

Do you think your security can keep you in purity, you will not shake us off above or below. Scottish friction, Scottish fiction

Hope Kyle is ok and recovers.

Seems to be unable to catch a break this season for us.

Yep very stop start. Think he is an excellent player too.

Think it's going to be next season before we even begin to see Kyle properly. Still yet to see much from him when he's been fit.

Hope he is alright and back training soon
