Not headphones, but I bought this a few months ago. Easy to use, sound is good and stays on all night. If I want to sleep on my side it’s still comfortable but can slide it round 180 so have the speaker on my non pillow ear only. Happy with my purchase, but not headphones if that’s what you’re specifically after. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Wireless earphones for use in bed
Can anyone recommend a pair of comfortable, wireless earphones which I can use while I fall asleep?
I've got good over-ears and wired in-ear headphones, but neither are much good to me as I sleep on my side.
The big pair are great when I lie flat, but I can't fall asleep like that and the corded pair csuse havoc on the bedside table when I turn over etc.
I know there are fantastic buds out there, but I'm a bit reluctant to spend £££££s on something I only want for (hopefully) a few minutes every bedtime.
So, can the hibs.net hive help me out?

This reminds me of my sleeping glasses (a tip picked up from a mate) - old specs that I put on for watching TV while lying on the settee late at night or for reading in bed. It doesn't matter if I fall asleep and mangle them.

What would you be listening to?
If it's just podcasts or audio books then something from the JLab wireless range will set you back between £30 and £60. They are quite bass heavy though and not great for music.PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years

I’ve got earbuds for this very purpose. I bought mine from eBay, you will have a large choice and you can spend whatever you think is appropriate. I start with both in and I take one out when I turn onto my side to fall asleep. They come with a handy charging case that doesn’t need to be plugged in to charge, that can be handy for nights when you’re struggling to sleep as you can charge one while using the other one. I could keep both in and fall asleep, but I find the signal goes a bit on the one that’s against the pillow.

I have one of these pillow speakers, which is really good as it the Mrs doesn’t hear anything from it at all
the only issue I’ve ever found is that some spoken word content can be quite quiet and not as easy to hear through the pillow, but I’ve got a wee amp that boosts the sound and makes those bits and pieces more audible

I've been using similar to these for over a year - mainly to help get back to sleep after waking up for hours during the night. they've done the job, comfortable to wear and still holding a few days charge before a top up is needed. In the brand I have there is a bit give to gently move both speakers to fit your sleeping position/ears. would have paid double

Used to be able to get flat earphones and not the bud type, they were always much more comfy for lying on your side with but don’t see wireless versions of them.
