    Stuart Findlay to MLS

Currant Bun running a story this morning that Stuart Findlay is likely to move to MLS side Philadelphia Union for £100k in the next month.
Their transfer window is still open.
Lots of us thought Hibs would have been interested in signing him on a pre contract. Hearts were rumoured last week to be teeing him up for a similar summer move.
    Agent playing games?
Philadelphia offering as much as £100k or figure plucked out the air by journalist at The Sun?
    Whatyathink?

A strange one given he is their best defender by some distance and as shown by their cash splash on Lafferty they are desperate to avoid relegation

He's a decent enough player so I wouldn't mind us signing him. Having said that he's been at the heart of loads of poor Killie performances this season so I wouldn't be breaking the bank for him either. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the agent trying to get Hearts to offer him even more money, and that's probably what they'll do.

I don't think he's any better than what we have.

Yep, that’s what I understood too.

Not any better than we have but up to the same standard and we need another centre half for next season. Better would cost a pretty penny.
Daz has come back hard after a year off playing that appears to have given his knees time to make a recovery of sorts, however, he will be 36 in the summer and time waits for no man so Findlay would be an ideal addition.

Thought he was decent but watching him recently he has been poor.

He’s worse than what we have.

Who do you think is better that is available and Hibs could afford both the transfer fee and wages for?

Better than Findlay? Literally hundreds of centre half’s will be available, within our budget, who’d be good enough to come in and improve out team. We’re not forced to just sign players we’ve seen play in the SPL.

I don’t have names. It’s not my job to recruit footballers.
