A depressingly good dissection of the semi final. Will listen to the rest tomorrow.

Cheers Dave, was quite a cathartic exercise having a good old moan about things!

I usually avoid all things Hibs after a defeat like Saturdays but I dipped my toe into Longbangers as it usually has a lighter side to it and I was not disappointed. Actual sane comments on the semi final and decent discussions by all four regarding the manager and the team. It was good to have the 4 of you on it too. Can't believe it is 82 episodes old now, I hope you have a special episode planned for No100!!

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

"Sane" isn't a word usually associated with the podcast, so we'll take that!

I never thought we'd get 82 episodes either, to be honest. Might start making plans for the 100 now and hopefully we can do something special to commemorate it.

Finished the rest, good chat lads, keep it going.

Johns never ending optimism is annoying but countered well by Brian and Craig's realism 🙂

Can't wait for episode 1 of Cillit Bang.

I thought John brought a bit of balance to it, he's calmer than me after games!!

Apologies Matty. My post was intended to be light hearted but as you know I'm not very funny...

No need to apologise, Dave - it came across exactly as you intended! It was my reply that wasn’t funny!

Great watch. Must say being able to see faces is good for a variety of reasons. It’s not perverse I swear...

In seriousness, all the fan led Hibs podcasts etc. are usually a good listen/watch. Watching the 2 recent ones has added a bit more I suspect through some element of “someone is smiling, I should smile”. Body language and all that.

Using recent match as an example though, seeing others venting etc. helps put own reaction into perspective one way or another. Porthole from our bubbles I guess.

Really good listen. Very accurate and fair critique of the game. Pretty much nailed the key issues.

Explanation of what a leader is was great - there’s always “confusion” around that. It’s not solely someone that just shouts or someone that moans at the ref all the time.

Thanks - the YouTube videos were a bit of a leap for us, the other guys are fine but I’ve got a face for radio so was a bit reluctant to do it, but they have been relatively popular, we still get way more traffic on the podcasts but we’re starting to see a bit of an increase since we started sharing the recording.

I agree about the fan content, Down the Slope and Hibs Talk are both good listens and i like the wee differences between the podcasts.

Thanks. We’ve had a few messages about that, think the issue on Saturday is there was no leadership of any description on the pitch.

True. I hate to use hearts as an example but I think Naismith is a decent leader. Always in the ref's ear, always encouraging (crossing into downright moaning as well it has to be said) bit I think he's someone the others look to when they need lifting.

I'm not going to lay into Hanlon for no reason. He's quiet and that's just his nature. But when the team needs a boot he isn't going to cut it so we need someone who can.
