Ross says he's angry, you'd hardly believe it the way he spoke, monotone voice all the way through, I'm still to see any passion from him. If he's angry come on tv and look frigging angry and call the players out for being bottle merchants instead of just saying they need to show more guts and drive to win.

It's your team Jack, the drive, passion and ambition comes from the manager and his coaches, simply not good enough and sussed out at Sunderland before coming here, time's up.
And yet when Lennon did that, you called him out for it?

I see the 'ach that's just Hibs' and 'it's always been like this watching Hibs' comments already starting to pile up.

Is the whole point not that the club's whole new ethos first under Leeann Dempster when she arrived, which was then allegedly ramped up when Ron Gordon took over the club, that this attitude wasn't acceptable any more?
That a history of failure in big matches, not to mention utter capitulation in some, couldn't be used as an explanation for the failure of players and managers who had nothing to do with previous historical cock ups and certainly not as a defence of the latest one.

As a club a failure like this has to be unacceptable ... if it isn't we will never progress to the next level, especially when it comes on the back of yet another failure against our bitter rivals at the arse end of a competition.
    So bloody true !

Stubbs, Christ, best left alone. Hopeless since he left Hibs, great record against Rangers, aye when they had Ian Black, Fraser Aird and Darren McGregor for the most part. Absolutely zero chance he beats Rangers 4-0 at home now. I was a huge fan but there’s no chance he’s the man to take us forward from here.

When will you react then, you seem to be accepting that and many other performances,

When will I react! Let's all get down to Easter Road with the pitch forks! Does getting angry on a fans page make one bit of difference on the park? And my wife would disagree with you that I'm accepting of performances as I was getting yapped at all the way through the game. Still doesn't mean I think the manager should be sacked

Alan Stubbs has a 58% win rate at hibs although exclusively in the championship

I mind back in they days constant moaning at his tippy tappy, side to side football

Underwhelmed if hibs go for him

I never understand why this board always looks at ex players and managers - baffling

Yeah, because that's how all shortlisting and interview processes go for appointing a manager. We're not interested in how you like your teams to play, what vision you have for the club, what you have learned from your successes and failures, what you think could be done with the present squad and why, what insight you have on training and developing players and what affinity - if any - you have for the club, its fans and its ambitions. There's just one question that matters, how many jobs have you had?
    WTF are you on about?

We also beat Hearts twice, Rangers seven times, Aberdeen when they were top of the league, and won two semi finals out of three. There was another thing too but I forget what it was.
Yup, his ability to develop the squad, first team and style of play ready for the Premiership was why we won the cup while beating teams from that league. He was a poorer fit for the Championship but that's not the league, standard or style of football we are facing here. He'd be a perfect fit.

He’d be a much better fit than Ross, that’s for sure.

on the contrary...the PLAYERS sh*t it as per when going behind in majority of games, a lot of the posts on here leading up to the 1st goal already knew how it was going to go, even though the "bedwetters" (and i) :) were absolutely 110% spot on

Magennis may reputedly be one of the best young talents in Scotland, but we have seen absolutely zero evidence to back up that assertion.

Ross is taking absolute liberties with him, Murphy, Cadden, Allan & Irvine, playing them in such a high profile game when all 4 of them have barely kicked a ball this season and in some cases far longer.

He is hanging these guys out to dry

Stubbs at least could beat Aberdeen and Hearts in the League Cup and Scottish Cup.

Would you mind posting what their win rates are at Hibs? You know, the most relevant of win rates seeing as we’re talking about how well they’d fit in at Hibs.

Maybe throw in their record in big games and trophy hauls as well since that’s what fans want to see.
Win rates of the last six managers.

    Pat Fenlon - 31 in 87 (36%)
    Terry Burcher - 6 in 29 (21%)
    Alan Stubbs - 59 in 100 (59%)
    Neil Lennon - 59 in 123 (48%)
    Paul Heckingbottom- 11 in 32 (34%)
    Jack Ross - 27 in 54 (50%)

Already have, the performance was terrible in the 2nd half, game should have been out of sight by then. Dont think JR should be sacked, not sure what else I need to say

Let’s move forwards not backwards. Ross may well lead us to a 2nd place finish the way Celtic are right now but if we have to change we should get Scott Brown in as player-manager. I’m serious.

I don't mind seeing a manger showing anger when his team have performed like that, I never once called Lennon out for it, my biggest grip with him was his lotto team selections and when his team got beat he blamed them, threw them under the bus is the expression used. It was Lennon's 2nd season that turned me off him, I've given Ross every chance to make me believe he's the right man, yes we're 3rd in the league and tbh we should be either 3rd or 4th given our budget, he's continually lost important games like the Hearts semi, against Aberdeen and now this one, add in the abject performances since christmas and I'd say his time is up.

I see no passion from him, everything is all well thought out before he speaks, I see nothing from him on the touchline either, no geeing players on, no remonstrating with them to get their fingers out nothing, he stands there hands in pockets expressionless, enough already.

If you get excited about a 4th place finish - have a word.

Crap league and budget way above the rest.
Sums it up perfectly for me.

That is not a bad shout would take Scotty back in a heartbeat but would he bother now after being on the dark-side for so long?

Don't think Hibs owner has got a clue what's acceptable for the 1st team. He'll put up with whatever Hibs fans will put up with, and that's all about ticket sale. Jack Ross and the Hibs players can be thankful there are no fans at these matches. The myth about anxiety and pressure coming down from the stands affecting these Hibs snowflakes is well and truly dead. I don't want to hear that ever repeated again.

No ambition, no drive, no spine, no ambition, no pride. A disparate collection of well paid non-achievers at Hibs, managed by someone who's unable to motivate and organise properly for games that really matter.

Under the circumstances, will go down as one of the worst Hibs results at Hampden, and that's saying something.

    Well said!

You’ve made a pigs ear of Lennons

So Stubbs had a better win rate, a much better PPG, played much better football, signed much better players and won us the cup.

I know who I’d rather have.

Strange, mine took me through a couple of options and then lastly to confirm the cancellation, hopefully you get it sorted

Just double checked mine to make sure! Definitely cancelled as it gives an option to stop the cancellation if I want.
