    Brilliant win

Well done the boys today, on a shocking pitch we did what we needed to do. We were the better team and more than deserved the win. Onwards to the semi final.

    United we stand here....

Much needed win and a brilliant set of results for us right across the fixtures. Great to see both new signings featuring and chuffed that Gogic got his goal.

Good win after the run we have been on and the results elsewhere.

Really need that pitch sorted out pronto or our home games will just be a lottery.

    Not a brilliant win

Better second half got us the 3 points.

Everyone needs to step it up more and be more consistent, with the exception of Doig who has been the only highlight over the past month..

Great to get the three points, especially with Aberdeen getting pumped today as well, onwards and upwards and great to see the new boys getting some game time today

It was an important 3 points and a brilliant win. It might not have been a brilliant performance, but we played well enough in the second half.

Great 3 points. Think the two teams' shapes cancelled each other out, but we battled away to get the win. I thought Gogic, Hallberg and the back 4 were very good today.

Stepped it up the 2nd half and actually had quite a few chances. Doig, McGinn and Gogic our best players.

Poor all round performance but a great win.

Its important when guys like Boyle, Nisbet and Murphy have quiet days or are a bit off that we have others to rely on to get the win. On a pitch as bad as that you need to find alternative solutions.

The whole defence were very good and Doig is improving every game, especially his composure on the ball and delivery.

Gogic was solid in the centre of the park and repeatedly broke up play, Hallberg next to him done well too although probably won’t receive much plaudits.

I don’t think it was even close to a poor performance - conditions, the pitch and the opposition was always going to make that a scrappy battle and other than Kabamba’s shot they never really tested us and we could have had a couple more. Quite pleased with that.

Are we really blaming our poor home record until today on the pitch.

Was the pitch responsible for our win today.

Sometimes you need a wee bit of luck to come out of a bad spell, we enjoyed that today an own goal got us ahead a post kept the lead in tacht, then a gogic screamer sealed it, wasn't particularly pretty pitch didnt help, but we got the moral and confidence boost before the semi final, also Jackson Irvine got a good run the keeper got to know his teammates better and Cadden got some minutes, a good win overall and a full week to get more injured players back, well done hibs

What on earth are you talking about? I was talking about the pitch and weather today making it a game that was always going to be won in a scrappy fashion.

To call that a poor performance is utter waffle.

We needed a win before next week. We have to win the semi.

Terrible pitch but probably as good as they could get it, given the weather recently. I doubt if they decided to have a crap pitch.

The pitch suited us today as we were missing our best midfield ballers in Allan and Newell. Slowed the game right down, made it very difficult for Kiltie to get away from Gogic. When we brought on Doidge, it gave Killie something to extra to think about, they couldn't press as hard, and we could be more direct rather than trying to pass through a tattie field.

I mean in terms of what a lot of fans expect with playing free flowing football. Even though the pitch was shocking I still think we could have played it better, first half especially.

2nd was better and we looked more comfortable.

Brilliant win based on the pitch and conditions, a lot more to come performance wise.

Gogic VG again. Still missing something in midfield tho. Too often first half it was passed back and forth but with no incision and the ball ending up back with Hanlon for a long diagonal which usually gave possession away.

It really was a great three points today. Big win too after the Sheep bottled it in Dingwall

Very good to get the 3 points after some disappointing results.

Now to kick on and book ourselves a final and keep the pressure on Aberdeen (and Celtic ).

Could have done with St Johnstone getting pumped to hit their confidence even further.

It was a great 3 points but extremely hard to watch.
The opening post highlights the extreme nature of this place. When we win people go over the top and vice versa when we lose the majority of time the criticism is over top.

Is there much difference between a brilliant win and a great 3 points?

Brilliant would be overcooking it performance wise - it was a solid performance though and very encouraging with the semi coming up - with room for improvement though and with our new signings making their debuts and others coming back to fitness there's every reason to hope that we will see that come to fruition over the coming months.

Meanwhile Yogi showed his RC side's Easter Road heroics were not a one off by giving Aberdeen a proper doing - Brilliant to see us take advantage and get back to 3rd!
