IIRC they conceded a couple of games and played laddies in the others.
In my opinion if he played for Killie he can't play for St.Mirren.

Stuart Cosgrove was waxing lyrical about Spoony on OTB. First name in the team sheet for him and playing out of his skin apparently.

Seems a bit silly but I guess it's because of how early the group games are, right alongside the transfer window.Mon the Hibs.

If you played in the group games for one club you can play in the knockout stages for another club. Now if someone had just come in and said that 15 posts ago.

Spoony seemed to be the ultimate confidence player. His body language and even facial expression could be awful when he was down. When he was high on confidence he could be brilliant. Lack of consistency was his problem at Hibs.

Would have been much better than some of the mercenaries we had during his time. Didn’t even make a place on the bench in either games
2 Finals from Fenlon, but along with CC and Hecky, really dire times for us Hibees

Good he has made a decent career but he’s been pretty average with some bright moments for them over that time. Another that just wasn’t quite good enough unfortunately.
