Massive boost for us and a good opportunity to get an essential win. Why do I have a bad feeling about this game however?

Probably because of the size of squad they have and the way we have performed in the last two game IMO you can't really include the game before that because we put in a good performance, but all the same it is a massive boost for us

These trips are more about building team spirit than just training.

Some of their bigger name players aren't included in the isolating lot. McGregor, Frimpong, Griffiths, Edouoard, Soro, Laxalt, Christie, Ajer...all free to play apparently!

I get that, my point was more about them "reading the signals"....clearly they didnt by going in the 1st place, but to take lads along for the sesh seems a bit off.

Agree nothing to do with the last two games. We unfortunately can't be trusted to win an obviously winnable tie or for example hold on to a two goal lead with 10 minutes to go, its a Hibs thing. In saying that we couldn't get a better opportunity to beat them than this and stop a bad rot with the Huns tie on the horizon.

They have a First Team squad of 29, and 13 of those are in isolation.

So 16 first team players plus a number of (probably decent) youth players to choose from.

I'm certainly not taking anything for granted, especially in light of our form in the last two games.

Given those available to play they will still have a far better team, player for player, than we have. Lennon has probably picked more unusual starting line ups with everyone available!

  19. #18
Yeah, anyone thinking Hibs should walk this game is at it..

The team they can field is still very, very strong.

Brilliant news. We need to stop the rot and the 3 points will be welcome. Pity it will effectively kill off Celtic's chance of 10IAR, but they were stupid to travel and deserve all they will get tonight. Could be our biggest win at Parkhead in decades. Can't wait

I know you are probably at the wind up but it's not going to be a walk in the park and by all accounts their team will still be strong.

We need to go out there and show whichever Celtic team that is selected that we are the boss tonight.

No more faffing about trying to keep think things tight for as long as possible , go for it Hibs, the thought of getting beat by what will essentially be a reserve side doesn't bear thinking about.
