    National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.
    Every gimmick hungry yob,
Digging gold from rock and roll
Grabs the mic to tell us,
    He'll die before he's sold.

There is a new episode of “the holiday films that made us” on Netflix about Elf.

It’s well worth a watch for those who enjoyed the film, some really interesting stuff in there.

I watched Elf earlier, loved it. Have to add in National Lapoons, Love Actually, Miracle on 34th St, Bad Santa, The Santa Claus, Trading Places and Home Alone.

I'd also say Love Actually if you could edit out the Keira Knightly/Egg story.

There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

Santa Claus The Movie. I always watch it on Christmas Eve.

Closely followed by Miracle on 34th Street.

Anyone have a platform to see the Home Alone movies?

Not on Sky cinema, only for purchase or rental on prime and nothing on Netflix!

Not Christmas movies as such but I always associate the original Star Wars trilogy with Christmas, mostly because they were always in the TV over Christmas when i was wee, and were the first thing I’d look out for in the TV or Radio Times Christmas editions.

    Same goes for Indiana Jones.
