A Christmas Carol. The 1951 version with Alistair Sim. If you watch it without linking it to any religious aspect or a Christian belief, it is a classic anti-greed message for everyone.

We've watched The Muppet Christmas Carol after tea time on Christmas Eve ever since the kids were wee. They're 17 and 14 now but we still love to watch it. I think its the best version of A Christmas Carol that's been made, Michael Caine is terrific, although the missus likes the musical version with Albert Finney.

From my childhood I always associate watching The Wizard of Oz with Christmas. In my mind it was shown on Christmas Eve afternoon every year, but in reality it probably only happened once or twice.

The Christmas Chronicles films on Netflix are pretty good.

    Watched Nativity this morning.

Film is so so but the kids in it are brilliant. They carry the whole thing.

Nativity 2 is a good sequel.
There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.
