Could be an interesting last 10 days or son with JR saying he's hopeful of getting in another couple of players in with maybe a few bodies moving the other way which may be loans or permanents.

I used to play 2 a side football on a Sunday night at Crossroads with John Greig, Pat Stanton, 4 others who all turned pro & occasionally Kenny Buchanan. Pat's cousin Jimmy (Mickey) McManus was the best player by far. For some reason no one seemed that keen to be my partner!! 😁

I used to go when it was still at Coupar Street school.Two a side with a woollen rag ball. Proudest moment when my pal and I won the tournament one night and Eric Gardiner took us to the canteen for a free choice. I left when I joined the BB.Not enough nights in the week.

There was a Jimmy McManus that moved from Edinburgh Norton and signed for Dundee Utd and later Falkirk.

SJ did because Peter Collins got him in to train us with Gracemount Rovers at the old Dr Guthrie’s complex on Lasswade Road.
