The gulf between the bigots and the rest is huge unfortunately
Of course it is, the financial disparity is

The ball is going nowhere near Nisbet so not sure what difference a slower, less mobile striker would make to that.
Take it you don’t rate him then!

Doidge is excellent and is a great foil for Nisbet and brings so much to the team.

    Just my opinion mind!

Not pleasing on the eye but defending well and probably had the best chances of the game.

He has made a few good passes that have not been capitalised upon.

Nice input from you as usual. You do nothing on these threads other than snark at other posters. You're a grown man. Get a grip. No wonder i stopped posting here as people like you have ruined the forum.

Stood off Celtic since kick off and left them wandering around Easter Road as if they're football's version of the Harlem Globetrotters.

We'll not continue to get away with this unless our approach changes drastically.

Hardly. For all the possession we're conceding they've only had a couple of long range efforts.
What's their shots at goal got to do with us running about chasing shadows?

To me Mallan is the only one trying to press the ball
Probably not wrong seeing as Joe hasn't done heehaw either... Actually he just passed back to their keeper.

We're just far too passive and seem content to wait for Celtics attack to break down in and around our box. 5 in midfield and it looks like we're being over run in midfield.

He is decent enough but hasn't been great lately. We have struggled in midfield against the better sides so one up top was the way to go today. Saying that I would have thought the extra body in midfield would have allowed us to lay a glove on them. We have been terrible across the centre on the ball and off it so far. Fairly irrelevant as Doidge is injured

We're not running about like headless chickens as you suggest. We're keeping a shape which, at times, surrenders a lot of possession but mostly in safe areas.

I don't mind surrendering possession to Celtic as they struggle to do anything damaging with it.

We have been good out of possession. Shape is good. Just our passing in possession that’s been poor. Overall I’m reasonably happy so far.

We are far too deep. Inviting them to come at us.

Indeed but a few have been like that not just him. Think he brings a lot to the team just needs a wee bit of luck in front of goal.

You would think but sometimes it regardless against better quality players.

Half time. Not been carved open but not offered much going forwards either. Newell/Mallan not offering much in the middle of the park and Nisbet has had very little to work with. Boyle our biggest threat.

  29. #148
We're not pressing celtic, rather allowing them possession. They've not hurt us yet but a risky game plan should be need to chase the game

We've had chances and some slack passing has let us down at times.

Cliff - give Tam a shake at half time please. It's not all bad mate.
Agree with what he is saying to an extent but let's have some encouragement please. This is HibsTV.

Opportunities there for us second half if we start finding our man better.
