Know he had been playing with back issues in some recent games.

    And where will Boyle play

Happy with that team. Think it’s the right way to set up. Obviously never know but wonder if he’d have went that way had Doidge been there.

Not much of a bench right enough.

    It's been kept very quiet.
The guy has been worked into the ground for the last 18 months taking big hits in almost every game.
Not surprised he has eventually capitulated.

I would have liked Gullan to start in his place albeit would have meant that our style of play would have been tweaked.

Got to be a 433 or something along those lines.

Boyle and Murphy either side of Nisbet.

Big chance for Mackie today. Let’s hope he has a stormer of a game up and down the flank. I’d like to see him give Frimpong a sore one early on.

That’s his problem, loses his composure

Play that formation properly and he won’t be.

In a couple of the European games I’ve watched, Frimpong hasn’t recovered well from dead leg type challenges. He visibly retreats out the game. He needs a dead leg ASAP.

Will need to be near to Nisbet or the guy will be isolated on his own.
