Johnny Clayton won a tight one against Ryan Joyce and Gabriel Clemens beat Joe Cullen. Not sure why but can’t take to Cullen

Did anyone see his incredible post match interview earlier? Even more importantly did anyone understand what on Earth he was talking about?

    Very bizarre.

I can only imagine the Czech boy said something to Anderson when he scored a ton and gave it a big fist pump, Anderson scored a 180 with his next throw and never missed him with his response.

Price was a lucky boy there, 5-4 winner v Suzuki who missed 4 Match darts.

Seemed to be accusing players of taking substances backstage but it was all very cryptic and Eric Cantona-esque.

I read about it this morning before watching the video( thanks for that) and apparently the boy kept sniffing every time he was ready to throw. Gary Anderson obviously wasn’t impressed and by what he was saying it seems as if it’s a commonly used distraction tactic. He said it was the same team all the time doing it but not sure what that relates to.

Yeah it would be good to have had some explanation to be honest, it wasn't a great look for him.

Anyone see Gary Anderson’s game this evening? I was taking my boy swimming so missed it. I know he won but how did he play?

He was a bit patchy scoring wise but 4 out of 5 on the doubles saw him home. Took the first leg against the throw which was a steal as Searle missed 3 darts at double 8 and Gary nicked in with a ton+ finish.

Held throw from there to see it out with another ton+ on the bull to close it out.

He won't win on this form. Not scoring well enough to beat better players.

Cheers for that. Sounds like he improved a fair bit from the Whitlock performance so hopefully he can continue on an upward trajectory.

IIRC he's likely to play MVG, he's not playing well enough to give MVG a game.

Yeah he'll play Van Gerwen barring a very unlikely set of results in these last two matches.

    Peter Wright out.
Pressure really got to him . Very unusual as he is normally good under pressure.

There are a few tonight that have buckled under the pressure. Price did well to come back in his situation but the one that handled the pressure the best was the player with the least experience. He pulled off a miraculous qualification. Adam Hunt most certainly didn't make a James Hunt of it😅😅

Good stuff. Glad to see him making a bit of a comeback lately. Be happy for any of the 4 left to win it tbh.

De Sousa wins it. Up to 15th in the rankings from nowhere. Great for the guy.

Wish him well. Nice to see new faces winning. Couldn’t watch it as my WiFi is down. Missed the semifinals too.
