The goalies contribution should never be part of the equation with a free header from 8 yards. It should be in the back of the net regardless of what the keeper does unless it’s something outrageous. Whilst it was a good save, it wasn’t outrageous.
Pele six yards out + Gordon Banks = save was some equation.

Yup. Safe to say that wasn’t a save of Gordon Banks proportions though.

Chance of promotion today and to delegate the Slovaks!

Looks like that chance has gone for now!

how disappointing that mcburnies missed chances cost us at least a point, still, only a p@shy deflected goal gave them the points as they never really bothered us.

Poor performance against a poor opponent, very little urgency or pace with even less threat up front. How McBurnie is still around is anyone's guess?

I wouldn't give pass marks to any of them, thought they were all pretty anonymous. Guess that's Scotland for you!

Good save at the end but a fit Griffiths would have finished it.

Your names not Davy Provan is it

Didn't think we were too bad. How mcburnie and mclean got a full game is surprising

    McBurnie?
I just don't know if he is poor or we're playing in a way that uses his strengths. Whatever, that performance to will do little to build his confidence I guess.

Just need Czech and Israel to draw tonight to be promoted. If not, it comes down to the last game.

That's the big worry. It used to be a lack of central defenders, now we've loads of them. But strikers is a real problem, without Dykes we're toiling.

🤣 Thankfully no, but I probably did sound like him, nothing to get enthused about for me today sadly.

I think McLean is totally overrated and McBernie is just pish. It just shows how ridiculous the prices floating about the top 2 English leagues are, forking out big bucks for bang average players.

We don't have a right sided centre back hence Considine playing there out of position today.

    What now?
Scotland could approach the Southampton striker Che Adams again.
Palmer not good enough and after the 1st half we didn't play down that side. Should also explore forcing the situation with the current UK agreement to get Tavernier in. The agreement is not binding and he meetstheUEFA criteria. Alternatively move Robertson to right back. Tierney played the left side role far better today than Robertson has.

    Time for Hibs game now.

McTominay. Gallagher can play there as well.

Thought we were pretty good first half and at this level simply can't be missing the quality of chance we did. Unlucky with the goal but looked a bit powder puff in the second half until Griffiths came on. Personally would have brought Burke on for Mcburnie for something different late on.

Personally think Israel away is a harder game but that is the way the fixtures landed. Will be interesting to see who plays Wednesday get the impression he has agreed with certain clubs so expect Tierney for example not to start but we will see.
