    Ryan Porteous

Well done that man. First Scottish footballer to join the Common Goal movement and pledge at least one per cent of his earnings to gender equality in football.

Well done Ryan. Good to see.

I believe Juan Mata is the man behind it all. Seems a great guy actually, won it all and is using that platform for better.

I think this reflects really well on Ryan and the club, great initiative to get involved with and yet another reason to be proud of our football club.

Swear filter needs to get a grip, Common_Goal is going to appear on these pages a few times I would imaging and any link will be blocked because it happens to have a blocked word in it.

Not really. It's just unfortunate that the link has a sequence of letters that form a word which many find offensive.

Well done to Ryan for committing to a very worthy cause, hopefully leading the way for more in the professional men's game in Scotland.

As for the filter, it's unfortunate, but the best solution is to embed any links within a different word, so people can still share the site but the blocked word won't be included.

Is the swear filter based on regular expressions? If so it would be simple enough to use the \b flag to prevent it censoring stuff that's embedded in a different word.

I do totally understand, I was being a bit flippant without the appropriate emojis

A good movement and money towards a worthy cause. Well done Ryan!

Does all the CG money go towards gender equality in football or is there a range of worthy causes that players choose from?

There are various 'football for good' causes to choose from... You pick one specific NGO or contribute to a pool that supports their larger projects.

I'm sure the admins implemented it for Scunthorpe some time ago.
